The Asian Beach Volleyball Championships is an international beach volleyball competition held every year in Asia and Oceania contested by the double-gender beach volleyball of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation.

Asian Volleyball Confederation

The Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in Asia and Oceania. It has 65 member countries, mostly located in the Asia-Pacific region, but excludes the six transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Turkey and Cyprus, along Israel – which are instead members of CEV.

The Nestea European Championship Tour is a European beach volleyball tour organised by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). It is the highest ranked European series of beach volleyball tournaments.

Koko Prasetyo Darkuncoro is a beach volleyball player from Indonesia. He competed at the 2006 Asian Games, and won a silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games. At the 2008 Asian Beach Games he received a gold medal with partner Andy Ardiyansah.

Iran participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China on 12–27 November 2010.

The 2008 Asian Beach Volleyball Championship was a beach volleyball event, that was held from April 3 to 6, 2008 in Hyderabad, India.

The 2007 Asian Beach Volleyball Championship was a beach volleyball event, that was held from April 13 to 15, 2007 in Samila Beach, Songkhla, Thailand. 46 teams including 22 women's squads from 15 AVC members participated in this tournament.
