Katherine Alexandra Christie is a South African politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Democratic Alliance (DA).

Christie was a member of Cape Town City Council for 30 months. [1]

Christie, in exchange for a R110000 luxury holiday to Israel, defended the country's actions in Gaza, denying reports by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and the United Nations, stating that she 'loves Israel' and will always 'pray for Israel'. This received backlash due to the tens of thousands of children who have been killed since 7 October 2023 in the region.

She was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in the 2024 South African general election, where she was 66th on the national party list. [2]
