The Kensington Arcade is a shopping centre in Kensington, London, England. It is located on Kensington High Street. The entrance to High Street Kensington tube station is inside The Kensington Arcade.
The Arcade was built as part of the redevelopment of High Street Kensington tube station by the Metropolitan Railway between 1906-07 from designs by their consultant architect, George Campbell Sherrin, with the neighbouring department stores, Pontings and Derry & Toms taking the store space. In August 2000 it was revealed that MEPC plc was planning to sell its shopping centres, including Kensington Arcade, so the money can be reinvested in its business parks in South East England. [5] It was expected to sell for £100 million. [5]
Meadow Partners announced that it had completed a recapitalization of Kensington Arcade, costing £100 million, in March 2011. [1] [6] Meadow Partners also asked Paul Davis + Partners to look at the redevelopment of Kensington Arcade. [7] Planning permission was obtained to combine the two shopping units. [7]
In April 2013, Wasabi and Bill's Restaurant took two stores in Kensington Arcade. [8] Kamps, a German bakery chain, opened two stores in London in 2013 - one on Tottenham Court Road and the other in Kensington Arcade. [9]

Knightsbridge is also the name of the roadway which runs near the south side of Hyde Park from Hyde Park Corner.

Subsidiary entrances are located in Exhibition Road giving access by pedestrian tunnel to the Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert Museums. Also close by are the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College London, the Royal College of Music, the London branch of the Goethe-Institut and the Ismaili Centre.

Opened as The Glades on Tuesday 22 October 1991, the centre is currently jointly owned by Alaska Permanent Fund (85%) and the London Borough of Bromley (15%). In October 2015 it was confirmed that Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation had agreed to acquire the stakes held by intu Properties and CGNU/Aviva in a £177m deal, giving the APFC 85% holding of the mall and taking the Bromley centre out of intu's network. The sale completed towards the end of 2016.

The Tribeca Belfast development, formerly known as North East Quarter and previously Royal Exchange, is a planned £500 million development based in the north east of Belfast City Centre. It is a major mixed-use regeneration scheme, with a total area of 1.5 million sq ft (0.14 million m2) as of 2018. The development has generated controversy since its inception in 2003. Over the years, opposition has been levelled against its lack of care towards existing important built heritage, lack of integration with local small businesses and arts organisations and even its brand name, and much of its existence so far has been in the context of an arson attack on one of the existing buildings in 2004, while under the ownership of the developers.
One New Change is a major office and retail development in the City of London.
