Nara Chandrababu Naidu, commonly known as CBN, is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the 13th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a record of longest serving Chief Minister in the political history of telugu states. He is the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

The Polavaram Project is an under construction multi-purpose irrigation project on the Godavari River in the Eluru District and East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. The project has been accorded National project status by the Central Government of India. Its reservoir back water spreads up to the Dummugudem Anicut and approx 115 km on Sabari River side. Thus back water spreads into parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha States. It gives major boost to tourism sector in Godavari Districts as the reservoir covers the famous Papikonda National Park, Polavaram hydro electric project (HEP) and National Waterway 4 are under construction on left side of the river. It is located 40 km to the upstream of Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage in Rajamahendravaram City and 25 km from Rajahmundry Airport.
Nara Lokesh is an Indian politician, who is the Information Technology and Communication & Industries Minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is the son of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu. He also served as Panchayat Raj, Rural development and IT and Communication minister through an MLC post. He was severely criticized for not contesting the elections and becoming a minister in his father Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet. However, after great criticism for not contesting any election, he finally chose to contest as an MLA for Mangalagiri Assembly Constituency and lost to YSR Congress Party candidate Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. In 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election he was elected as MLA of Mangalagiri.

It is currently the second largest party in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and is a partner in the ruling coalition. The party leader Pawan Kalyan serves as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Kurnool Airport, also known as Orvakal Airport and officially known as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy Airport, is a domestic airport serving the city of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located at Orvakal, situated on National Highway 40, about 18 km (11 mi) from Kurnool and 54 km (34 mi) from Nandyal. The airport covers an area of 1,008 acres (4.08 km2), and has been built at a cost of ₹153 crore as a low-cost airport to improve connectivity to remote areas. It began commercial operations on 28 March 2021. It has been named after Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who was a prominent freedom fighter in the 19th century.

This led to concerns that the decision would create chaos and insecurity for farmers who gave their fertile agricultural lands to the government in 29 villages of Guntur district. The protests began in Mandadam, Thullur, Uddandarayunipalem on 18 December 2019. In a few days, the protests spread across Andhra Pradesh Capital Region, in Andhra Pradesh. On 17 December 2020, series of events were done to mark the protests' anniversary.
The Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Act, 2020 is an act of Andhra Pradesh Legislature aimed at the decentralisation of governance in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The bill was proposed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish three capitals at different places in the state namely Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Kurnool, which will serve as executive, legislative and judicial capitals respectively.
