Coordinates: 54°35′10″N1°42′32″W / 54.586°N 1.709°W / 54.586; -1.709 Morton Tinmouth is a village or, perhaps more accurately, a hamlet of a few farms in County Durham, England.^[1] It is situated a few miles to the north-west of Darlington close to the village of Bolam (where population information is maintained).

The county's historic boundaries stretch between the rivers Tyne and Tees, thus including places such as Gateshead, Jarrow, South Shields and Sunderland.

Darlington is a large market town in County Durham, in North East England. With a population of 105,564 in 2011, the town lies on the River Skerne, a tributary of the River Tees. The town is administered as part of the Borough of Darlington. The town owes much of its development to the influence of local Quaker families in the Georgian and Victorian era, and who provided much of the finance and vision in creating the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the world's first steam locomotive powered, permanent passenger railway. The town is often colloquially referred to as 'Darlo'.

It is situated about eight miles to the west of Darlington, and a short distance from the villages of Langton, Hilton and Killerby. The Church of St John the Evangelist in Ingleton was built in 1843 by Ignatius Bonomi and J.A. Cory., and is a Grade II listed building.
