The Lake Erie and Western Railroad was a railroad that operated in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. The Lake Erie and Western main line extended from Sandusky, Ohio, 412 miles (663 km) westward to Peoria, Illinois, passing through Fremont and Fostoria, Ohio, Muncie and Lafayette, Indiana, and Bloomington, Illinois. It also had main lines extending from Indianapolis to Michigan City, Indiana and from Fort Wayne to Connersville, Indiana. Principal branch lines extended from St. Marys' to Minster, Ohio and from New Castle to Rushville, Indiana.

Zion Church until the late 1950s, is a historic African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a brick church constructed in 1920. It is the oldest surviving church associated with the Buffalo A.M.E. Zion congregations.

The Dodge Site is an archaeological site in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located north of Bowling Green in Wood County, the site was inhabited by Middle Woodland and Upper Mississippian peoples. Among the artifacts discovered at the site are ceramics and stone tools. The site's stratigraphy is obvious: the Middle Woodland village site and cemetery can easily be distinguished from the Upper Mississippian occupation zone that sits on top of it. While only a small portion of the 2.2 acre (0.89 ha) site has been excavated, the artifacts that have been discovered at Dodge have contributed significantly to an understanding of the western basin of Lake Erie around AD 1300. Enough material has been recovered to facilitate radiometric dating, as well as identifying the peoples who once inhabited the site. The excavations also revealed the intensity of occupation: the Middle Woodland layer was substantially larger than the exceptionally thin Upper Mississippian component.
The Bredeick–Lang House is a historic house on the western side of Delphos, Ohio, United States. Built in 1859, it is one of western Ohio's best examples of the Italian Villa style of architecture. Members of the Bredeick family have been important throughout Delphos' history: brothers Ferdinand and John Otto Bredeick platted the community along the Miami and Erie Canal in 1845, naming the two sides "West Bredeick" and "East Bredeick" respectively. Few buildings from the city's earliest years have survived, making the Bredeick–Lang House one of the oldest extant buildings in Delphos as well as one of the most elegant. A brick building with iron elements, it has seen few changes since the time of its construction, thus retaining its mid-nineteenth-century appearance to the present time.
