The World Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships, also knows as World Karate Championship Junior are the highest level of competition for karate for U21 athletes organized by the World Karate Federation (WKF). [1] Initiated in 1996 held in Johannesburg, South Africa, the competition is held in a different city every two years. [2]

The Asian Karatedo Championships are the highest level of competition for sport karate in Asia. The competition is held in a different country every two years organized by the Asian Karatedo Federation (AKF) under the supervision of World Karate Federation (WKF), the largest international governing body of sport karate with over 180 member countries. It is the only karate organization recognised by the International Olympic Committee and has more than fifty million members. The AKF organizes the Junior and Senior Asian Karatedo Championships in every two years in between the Olympic and Asian Games and participates in WKF World Karate Championships which its member Japan play as a powerhouse country when it comes to sport karate vying for world titles with counterpart opponents from the powerful nations such as France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain and Italy in many world championships.

Dorota Banaszczyk born 1997 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish karate athlete competing in kumite -55 kg division. Her biggest success is the gold medal of the world championships of seniors in 2018 in the kumite competition individually, cat. 55 kg.
Achraf Ouchen, is a Moroccan Karateka athlete who competes in the heavyweight division.
Samaneh Khoshghadam is an Iranian karateka. The champions like Hamideh Abbasali and Taravat Khaksar are her trainees. She began Karate at the age of 16. In 2003, she joined the Iran karate national women's team. She is now the head coach of the Iranian karate women's national team.
Tareg Ali Hamedi is a Saudi Arabian karateka. He represented Saudi Arabia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He won the silver medal in the men's +75 kg event after being disqualified for knocking out his opponent with an illegal kick. He is an eight-time medalist, including four gold medals, at the Asian Karate Championships. He is also a gold medalist at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games and a two-time bronze medalist at the Asian Games.
Ahmad Zigi Zaresta Yuda is an Indonesian karateka competing in the men's kata event. He won the gold medal in the men's individual kata event at the 2019 SEA Games held in Manila, Philippines. He also won the gold medal in the men's individual kata event at the 2021 SEA Games held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Ali Fadakar, is an Iranian karateka. He began karate training at age 10, and after several champions of national karate championships, became a member of Iran's karate national team in 2008. He has won 3 gold medals of 2009, 2012 and 2016 Junior and Senior World karate championships.
The 46th 2019 European Junior Karate Championships were the edition of the European Karate Championships, and were held in Aalborg, Denmark from 8 to 10 February 2019 along with the Karate Junior & U21 Championships and it was organized by Dansk Karate Forbund.
The 2021 European Karate Championships was the 56th edition of the European Karate Championships and 3rd European Para Karate Championships, and was held in Poreč, Croatia from 19 to 23 May 2021.
Abdalla Mamduh Abdelaziz is an Egyptian karateka. He won the silver medal in the men's 75 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He won silver medal in the Men's Individual -75 kg Kumite Karate at the 2019 African Games was held from 24 to 26 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco and gold medal in the Men's Individual -75 kg Kumite (UFAK) JUNIOR & SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020 at Tangier, Morocco.
The Karate India Organisation(KIO) replaced Karate Association of India(KAI) as the national governing body for karate in India on confirmation from World Karate Federation (WKF) on 15 November 2021.
The 2021 Asian Karate Championships were the 17th edition of the Senior Asian Karate Championship and were held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 20 to 22, December 2021. The event was held at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace.
The 48th 2021 European Junior Karate Championships were the edition of the European Karate Championships, and were held in Tampere, Finland from 20 to 22 August 2021 along with the Karate Junior & U21 Championships. Raybak Abdesselem of France won the only gold medal by defeating Russian Andreev in U21 84 KG category. Hairiss Hierso of France won the only gold medal in 54 KG category. Turkey win highest gold medals in the event with 9 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze.
Youssef Badawy is an Egyptian karateka and a world-classed champion. He won the gold medal in the men's kumite 84 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2019, he won the bronze medal in the men's kumite 84kg event at the World Cadet, Junior & Under 21 Championships in Chile, marking his debut at the Worlds and introducing himself as a candidate for the World Champion title.
