Local elections were held in the province of Pangasinan on May 9, 2022 as part of the 2022 general election. Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the six districts of Pangasinan.

Ramon "Mon-Mon" Guico III ran for election seeking to unseat incumbent Pangasinan governor Amado I. Espino III after getting re-elected into his second term against Arthur Celeste in the 2019 Pangasinan gubernatorial elections. Amado I. Espino III ran for his 3rd and last term as Provincial Governor of Pangasinan. Guico, the fifth district Pangasinan representative, garnered 888,027 votes, defeating Gov. Amado Espino III by a margin of 188,586 votes. [1]

Mangaldan, officially the Municipality of Mangaldan, is a municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 113,185 people.
Pangasinan, officially the Province of Pangasinan, is a coastal province in the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region of Luzon. Its capital is Lingayen while San Carlos City is the most populous. Pangasinan is in the western area of Luzon along Lingayen Gulf and the South China Sea. It has a total land area of 5,451.01 square kilometres (2,104.65 sq mi). According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 3,163,190. The official number of registered voters in Pangasinan is 1,651,814. The western portion of the province is part of the homeland of the Sambal people, while the central and eastern portions are the homeland of the Pangasinan people. Due to ethnic migration, the Ilocano people settled in the province.

San Carlos, officially the City of San Carlos, is a component city in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 205,424 people. It is the most populated city in Pangasinan and the entire Ilocos Region.
The Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX), signed as E1 of the Philippine expressway network and R-8 of the Metro Manila arterial road network, is a controlled-access toll expressway that connects the Central Luzon region with the Ilocos Region. From its northern terminus at Rosario in La Union to its southern terminus at Tarlac City, the expressway has a length of 89.21-kilometer (55.43 mi), cutting through the various provinces in northern Central Luzon. The expressway also passes Nueva Ecija between Tarlac and Pangasinan, only that it is not included on the expressway's name because there are no exits to directly serve the province although the exits indirectly serving it are Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX)/Tarlac City, Victoria, Pura, and Anao which are located in Tarlac.
The Diocese of Urdaneta is a Latin Church ecclesiastical jurisdiction or diocese of the Catholic Church in the Philippines. The diocese was established in 1985 from territory of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
Amado Totaan Espino Jr. is a Filipino politician and the former representative of Pangasinan's 5th District in the Philippine House of Representatives. He earlier served as Governor of the province of Pangasinan.
Pangasinan State University, also referred to by its acronym PSU or PangSU,) is a public university in Pangasinan province, Philippines. The university was founded in its current form in 1979, although its origins trace back to the 1920s. PSU is notable for its many locations throughout the province of Pangasinan. It is mandated to provide advanced instruction in the arts, agricultural and natural sciences as well as in technological and professional fields. Its main campus is located in Lingayen, Pangasinan. Other campuses are located in Alaminos, Asingan, Bayambang, Binmaley, Infanta, San Carlos City, Santa Maria, and Urdaneta City. The PSU School of Advanced Studies (SAS) is located in Urdaneta City and the Open University Systems (OUS) is located in Lingayen Campus.
Viron Transportation Company or Viron Transit is a bus company servicing the Ilocos Region, Philippines. The bus company is owned by millionaire Santiago Rondaris' daughter. It formerly operated as far as the second district of Ilocos Sur but has started to operate as far as Laoag City after the collapse of its related bus company Times Transit.

The Narciso Ramos Bridge, formerly known as the Asingan–Sta. Maria Bridge, is a highway bridge which connects the municipalities of Asingan and Santa Maria in Pangasinan, Philippines. Crossing the Agno River, it is part of the Asingan–Sta. Maria Road. It is the longest bridge in the province and the entire Ilocos Region.
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, commonly known as Urdaneta Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church located in the city of Urdaneta, Pangasinan in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines. Situated at Barangay Poblacion of Urdaneta, it is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urdaneta and is dedicated to Mary under the title of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
The 2025 Philippine local elections in the Ilocos Region are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025.
Local elections will be held in the Province of Pangasinan on May 12, 2025 as part of the 2025 general election. Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the six districts of Pangasinan.
