Ainamoi is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of six constituencies of Kericho County. The constituency was established for the 1997 elections.

David Kimutai Too was a Kenyan politician affiliated to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was a high school teacher and then a principal from Kericho in Rift Valley, Kenya before being elected to the National Assembly from Ainamoi Constituency from a field of 13 candidates in the December 2007 parliamentary election. Charles Keter, a fellow Member of Parliament, described Too as "a very humble, quiet man." The "List of alleged perpetrators" of the 2007/2008 post-electoral violence of the Kenya National Human Rights Commission however lists him among the suspects on place 3 and charges him with "planning, incitement, and financing the violence".

Kipkalya Kiprono Kones was a Kenyan politician who served as a minister during the 1990s and briefly as Minister of Roads in 2008. He was a member of the National Assembly of Kenya from 1988 to 2008.

Lorna Chepkemoi Laboso was a Kenyan Politician born in Kericho District of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). She was briefly a Member of Parliament and an Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Vice President's Office in 2008.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sub-Counties of Kenya</span>

Sub-counties, formerly known as Districts, are the decentralised units through which government of Kenya provides functions and services. At national level, sub-counties take a more administrative function like security, statistical purposes, provision of government services, etc. Even though the sub-counties are divisions of counties, powers to create new national sub-counties lies with the national government. As of 2023, there are 314 sub-counties, compared to 290 constituencies. A deputy county commissioner is appointed by the state to lead each sub-county. The sub-counties are further divided into divisions, locations and sub-locations.

Paul Chepkwony is a Kenyan politician and professor. He was the Governor of Kericho County in Kenya. Chepkwony is a member of Jubilee Party.

Ernest Ng'eno is a Kenyan Anglican bishop; since 2016 he has been the Bishop of Kericho.

Sylvanus Maritim is a Kenyan politician who was a member of the National Assembly from Ainamoi Constituency. He was a member of the ruling JP prior to the 2022, and now he belongs to the UDA.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Benjamin Langat</span> Kenyan politician (born 1976)

Hon. Amb. CPA Benjamin Kipkirui Langat, CBS is the current Member of Parliament for Ainamoi Constituency and immediate former Kenya High Commissioner to Namibia. He also served as the Member of Parliament for Ainamoi Constituency in Kericho from 2008 to 2017. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce Degree both from the University of Nairobi. He is also a fully qualified Certified Public Accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya in good standing.
