Kipkelion West is a constituency in Kenya. It is one of six constituencies in Kericho County. [1] [2] It was split from the now defunct Kipkelion Constituency to create two constituencies that is Kipkelion West and Kipkelion East after the promulgation of the New Constitution in 2010.

Kipkelion West is made of 4 wards [3] namely Kipkelion ward, Kunyak Ward, Kamasian Ward and Chilchila ward. Main economic activities in the constituency are coffee growing [4] and dairy farming.

Jonathan Kiprono Langat Magerer is a Kenyan politician. He is a former member Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Kipkelion Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. While in Parliament, he served as Deputy Chief Whip for ODM. He is remembered as one person who continues to serve Kenyans with dedication. On July 1, Langat was nominated as Executive Director of the Orange Democratic Movement, succeeding Janet Ongera. He was forceful ejected from ODMs National Executive Council meeting in October 2014 Hon. Magerer Langat Has continued to Serve the people of kiokelion constituency and Kericho County at large with diligence and dedication. He is seen from season to season participating in various public development initiatives, including fundraisers to build schools and for community development. As a seasoned politician, he has continued to champion for the efforts to revive development projects in the county, and enhance capacity building for his people. Reliable sources says that He will be contesting for the Kericho County Gubernatorial seat in 2022, seeking to succeed Prof. Paul chepkwony.

Kipkelion Constituency was an electoral constituency in Kenya (1988-2012).It was a successor of the defunct Kericho East Constituency(1963-1988). It was one of the three constituencies of Kericho District. The constituency was established for the 1988 elections. It was later divided into Kipkelion East Constituency and Kipkelion West Constituency, both part of Kericho County.

Sub-counties, also known as Districts, are the decentralised units through which government of Kenya provides functions and services. At national level, sub-counties take a more administrative function like security, statistical purposes, provision of government services, etc. Even though the sub-counties are divisions of counties, powers to create new national sub-counties lies with the national government. Kipkelion East is an electoral constituency in Kericho County, Kenya. It is one of six constituencies in the county. It was established for the 2013 general elections as constituency number 188 when Kipkelion Constituency was split into Kipkelion East and Kipkelion West constituency.

Embakasi West is a constituency in Nairobi. It is one of seventeen constituencies in Nairobi County. The constituency was formed prior to the 2013 elections, and has an area of 9.35 km2 (3.6 sq mi). Most of the area that forms Embakasi West Constituency was part of Embakasi Constituency; though some of its areas were part of Kamukunji Constituency. Embakasi West includes four electoral wards: Umoja I, Umoja II, Mowlem, and Kariobangi South.

Kericho East Constituency - (1963-1988) the now defunct constituency was among the post colonial constituencies in the current Kericho County. It was later changed to Kipkelion Constituency in the General Election of 1988.Kipkelion Constituency was later split into two, that is Kipkelion West and Kipkelion East Constituencies for the General Election of 2013 inline with the New Constitution of Kenya (2010).
