Kisauni Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya and is located in Mombasa County. [1]

Government structure.

The constituency has seven wards electing councillors for the Mombasa municipal council. With the promulgation of the new constitution in August 2010, Nyali Constituency was carved out from Kisauni Constituency.

Mombasa County is one of the 47 counties of Kenya. Its capital is Mombasa. In terms of economy it is second after Nairobi. Initially it was one of the former districts of Kenya but in 2013 it was reconstituted as a county, on the same boundaries. Hassan Ali Joho is the Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Blue Economy in the Republic of Kenya & former Governor of Mombasa County affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was also elected to represent the Kisauni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In the 2017 General Elections held on 8 August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman was a member of the Jubilee Party. Joho served as governor of Mombasa until 2022 when he completed the constitutionally allowed two five-year terms. He was succeeded by Abdulswammad Sherrif Nassir the former member of the National Assembly for Mvita Constituency.

Gatundu South is an electoral constituency in Kiambu County, Kenya and the seat of the District Officer in Gatundu Town. It is one of twelve constituencies in Kiambu County. The constituency has four wards, Kiamwangi, Kiganjo, Ndarugo, and Ng'enda, all of them are within the Kiambu County Council. The constituency was established before the 1997 General Elections. Previously it was part of the larger Gatundu Constituency which was split into Gatundu South Constituency and Gatundu North Constituency it is ranked 182 out of 210 Constituencies in Kenya in size and 165 out of 210 in population size.

Mvita Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of six constituencies in Mombasa County. The entire constituency is located within the Mombasa municipality area. The constituency was established for the 1988 elections.
