Allwyn Colony is a residential colony in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is located on the northwest fringe of Hyderabad city and is near to Kukatpally. Allwyn Colony is divided into two phases called 1st and 2nd phases. The colony was constructed in 1980s by Hyderabad Allwyn for its employees.
Allwyn Colony is developed by the Allwyn Housing Development Society. The Colony was developed to solve the housing problems of the employees in Allwyn Company. So Independent houses have been constructed with different quarters like A-Type, B-Type, C-Type. A-Type has 120 yards of land while B-Type & C-Type quarters have 96 yards (the difference between B and C-Type being the number of rooms). All Quarters have been allotted based on the lottery system. After the Construction, the Society carved out 600 plots, in phase-1 which were allotted to the members in 1987 by draw of lots. The Society then developed the area by providing all basic amenities like Manjeera water, electricity, transportation, temples, commercial complex, Kalayana Mandapam in 2011. Now Allwyn Colony contains more than 1000 independent houses.

Secunderabad, also spelled as Sikandarabad, is a twin city of Hyderabad and one of the six zones of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of the South Central Railway zone. Named after the Mir Akbar Ali Khan Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III, Nizam of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, Secunderabad was established in 1806 as a British cantonment. Sainikpuri is a residential neighbourhood in the northeastern part of Hyderabad City. It falls under Kapra mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and is currently administered under GHMC East Zone. It started as a co-operative housing society venture for retired army personnel, but now has houses which belong to other defence services as well as civilians. Late Brig M. K Rao, Late Brig S.N.Docca and Late Lt. Col. Tiwari Singh were the first few to have got plots in the society and had a vision to develop the colony into an elite area. The housing plots originally allotted to the members of the Sainikpuri co-operative society were of the size of 700–1,000 square yards each. Owing to this reason, most residences have large lawns and gardens. Roads are well laid and numbered. Avenues are lined with a variety of flowering and fruiting trees, and are ideal for morning and evening walks. The sprawling cantonment area, as well as The College of Defence Management (CDM) which is a premier establishment of the Indian armed forces, are in the vicinity of Sainikpuri. The old buildings are now slowly giving way to multi-storied apartments, and it is becoming a costlier affair to acquire living space in this area.
Alwal is a major locality in Secunderabad city, and a suburb of Hyderabad. Earlier, Alwal was a part of Malkajgiri Mandal but in 2006, Alwal Municipality was merged into Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Yapral is a neighborhood in the suburbs of north-eastern Secunderabad, Telangana, India. It was known as a village Panchayat until the mid-1980s when it became part of the Municipal Corporation of Alwal (MCA). In 2007, 12 municipalities, including Alwal, and eight village Panchayats in and around Hyderabad were merged to become the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
