Adibatla is a village in Ranga Reddy district near eastern part of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. [1] It derives its name from the erstwhile ruler of Bijapur, Yusuf Adil Shah. The TATA Aerospace SEZ is located here. [2] [3] Adibatla is also referred to as a future Gachibowli by local realtors.

Tata Advance System Ltd., a unit of the Tata Group, has sought and obtained 50 acres of land in the 250-acre Aerospace and Precision Engineering Special Economic Zone (SEZ) coming up at Adibatla in Ibrahimpatnam mandal in Ranga Reddy district not far from Hyderabad. [4] "It will be the first aerospace SEZ in the country. The formal approval for the SEZ was accorded by the centre in March 2008 and the notification is expected shortly," state government sources told 'TOI'.

In all, the state has identified 351 acres at Adibatla village. While the SEZ would come up over 250 acres, the remaining 100 acres have been earmarked for other ancillary units. Apart from the Tata unit, land is to be allotted to MTAR and other local manufacturers both within and outside the SEZ.

Hyderabad-based My Home Group is firming up plans for a 30-35 million sq feet project at a cost of around $2 billion at Kokapet to build one of the largest private IT parks in India. The project is being developed as a premium business district on the lines of Gurugram’s Cyber Hub that was developed by DLF. The commercial project being developed on an 80-acre plot, will comprise a combination of SEZ and non-SEZ development along with MICE tourism, star hotel, retail and entertainment facilities. The layout development is proposed with seamless connectivity to the Outer Ring Road by construction of Trumpet Interchange at Kokapet layout and additional entry and exit to the ORR at Narsingi. OKOS Gokarting is also located in Kokapet. A Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) is being planned in Kokapet area. The earlier proposed elevated bus rapid transit system (EBRTS) project, also known as Metro Neo from Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) to Narsingi covering the IT corridor like Kokapet has been put in cold storage by Government of Telangana.

Economy of Coimbatore is heavily influenced by information technology, engineering and textiles. Coimbatore is called the Manchester of South India due to its extensive textile industry, and IT industry, small and medium scale enterprises. The GDP of Coimbatore is around $45 billion (2021). It is second largest city by GDP in Tamil Nadu. The city has four special economic zones [SEZ], ELCOT SEZ, KGISL SEZ, SPAN Venture SEZ, Aspen SEZ and at least five more SEZs are in the pipeline. In 2010, Coimbatore ranked 15th in the list of most competitive Indian cities.

According to estimates, these engineering colleges and universities consistently generate about 50 per cent of the human resource requirements for the IT and ITES industry was being sourced from the state, particularly from Chennai. The total employment in the Tamil Nadu’s technology sector crossed the one million mark in the quarter ended June 2022.

The economy of Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, India, is based on traditional manufacturing, the knowledge sector and tourism. Starting in the 1990s, the economic pattern of the city changed from a primary service hub to a more diversified economy, but the service industry still remains a major contributor. As of 2006, the largest employers of Hyderabad are the governments of Andhra Pradesh and India, with 113,000 and 85,000 employees, respectively.

The Coimbatore Metropolitan Area, or Coimbatore Urban Agglomeration, is the sixteenth-most populous metropolitan area in India, the second most populous metropolitan area in the state of Tamil Nadu next only to Chennai. The Coimbatore Metropolitan Area consists of the city of Coimbatore and its suburbs in Coimbatore district.
