Chengalayi is a village in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. [1] The village is also known as Chengalayi.
As of 2011 India census, Chengalai had a population of 15,800 with 7,462 males (47.2%) and 8,338 females (52.8%). The national highway passes through Taliparamba town. Mangalore and Mumbai can be accessed on the northern side and Cochin and Thiruvananthapuram can be accessed on the southern side.
