A compact sport utility vehicle or compact SUV is a class of small sport utility vehicles that is larger than mini SUVs, but smaller than mid-size SUVs. However, there is no official definition of the size or dimensions for this market segment. Moreover, some manufacturers have marketed the same model name on different sized vehicles over time. The most common distinction between versions of crossover automobiles and compact-sized SUVs is that the first is based on a car-based unibody platform, while an SUV uses the unibody with welded-in ladder frame or body-on-frame chassis commonly used on trucks. However, manufacturers and common usage has blurred the two terms. Many recent vehicles labelled as compact SUVs are technically compact crossovers and are built on the platform of a compact/C-segment passenger car, while some models may be based on a mid-size car (D-segment) or a B-segment platform.
The Buick Enclave is a three-row crossover SUV produced by General Motors since 2007. It was previewed at the 2006 North American International Auto Show, officially as a concept car, making it the first Lambda vehicle to be displayed. The Enclave is partially based on the Buick Centieme concept shown at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show.
Baojun is a Chinese automobile marque owned by a joint venture of General Motors and SAIC Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile.
The Chevrolet Trax is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Chevrolet between 2013-2022. The car is based on the GM Gamma II platform, which is shared with the Chevrolet Aveo/Sonic, as well as the Opel Mokka/Buick Encore. It was also marketed as the Holden Trax in Australia, and as the Chevrolet Tracker in Russia and South America.

The Cadillac XT5 is a compact luxury / D-segment crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors. It was introduced at both the Dubai Motor Show and LA Auto Show in November 2015. The XT5 replaced the Cadillac SRX crossover when it was launched in spring 2016. It is the second model to use Cadillac's new alphanumeric naming scheme and the first in the Crossover Touring (XT) series. The XT5 is manufactured at GM's Spring Hill Manufacturing plant. The Chinese-market XT5 is manufactured in Shanghai by SAIC-GM.
The Kia Stonic is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) manufactured by Kia Motors. Its name is derived from the words "stylish" and "iconic". The Stonic debuted in Frankfurt on 20 June 2017 and in South Korea on 13 July 2017, and was released in the fourth quarter of 2017. It is marketed as the Kia KX1 in China.
The Cadillac XT4 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors since 2018 under the luxury Cadillac marque.
The Baojun 510 is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by SAIC-GM-Wuling through the Baojun brand.
The Chevrolet Blazer is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the Chevrolet marque. The vehicle went into production in December 2018 and sales began in January 2019 as a 2019 model. In China, a version with longer rear section and optional three-row seating is offered, which debuted in 2019 and went on sale in April 2020.
Subcompact crossover SUV is an automobile segment used to describe the smallest segment of crossover SUV, a type of sport utility vehicle, below the compact crossover SUV. Subcompact crossover SUVs are usually based on a platform of a subcompact passenger car, although some high-end subcompact crossover models may be based on a compact car (C-segment). The segment started to gain traction during early to mid-2010s when the number of models and sales figures rapidly increased in major markets such as North America and Europe. In 2019, around 22 percent of SUV global sales were contributed by subcompact crossovers.
The Cadillac XT6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV with three-row seating manufactured by General Motors. The vehicle was introduced on January 12, 2019, at the North American International Auto Show. It went on sale in June 2019 as a 2020 model.

Positioned as a successor to the Trax, it is produced in Brazil and Argentina for the Latin American market, and in China by SAIC-GM for the Chinese market. Despite the use of the Tracker name, the Tracker is not related to the model sold in North America as a rebadged Suzuki Escudo from the 1990s to the 2000s.
The Buick Encore GX is a subcompact crossover SUV built by General Motors starting in 2019. Like the smaller Encore, the Encore GX is manufactured by GM Korea. In China, it is manufactured by the SAIC-GM joint venture.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand since 2020. It is slotted between the slightly smaller Trax and the compact Equinox.

The Chevrolet Equinox EV is a battery electric compact crossover SUV to be manufactured by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand in 2023. It was introduced in January 2022 in a set of images at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and is planned to go on sale in the fall of 2023 for the 2024 model year. The Equinox EV features a design and underpinnings different from the ICE-powered Equinox.
The Buick Envista is a compact crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the Buick brand since 2022. It was unveiled for the Chinese market in August 2022.
