Hofstra University Soccer Stadium, is a 1,600 seat soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. It is part of the Hofstra University sports complex. First opened in 2003, it is the home field of the Hofstra Pride men's and women's soccer teams. [1] As of 2021, Hofstra University Soccer Stadium is also home to NISA club New Amsterdam FC.

Hofstra University is a private university in Hempstead, New York. It is Long Island's largest private university, Hofstra originated in 1935 as an extension of New York University (NYU) under the name Nassau College – Hofstra Memorial of New York University at Hempstead, Long Island. The David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex, also known as Mack Sports Complex, or just "The Mack" for short, is a 5,023-seat multi-purpose arena in Hempstead, New York. Replacing the Hofstra Physical Fitness Center, the arena opened on January 2, 2000, as Hofstra Arena and was renamed for Mack in 2006.

The James M. Shuart Stadium is an 11,929-seat multi-purpose stadium and sports facility, the facility serves as the home to Hofstra's lacrosse teams on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. First opened in 1963, and remodeled in 1996 and 2013, it was known as Hofstra Stadium until August 29, 2002, when it was renamed after the former president of Hofstra University, who played lacrosse and football during his undergraduate years at the school. The stadium grounds include James C. Metzger Hall which houses the stadium's press box, luxury suites and the Fried Center for Student-Athlete Development.

E. Claiborne Robins Stadium is an 8,217-seat multi-purpose stadium at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. It is home to the Richmond Spiders football, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, women's soccer, and women's track and field teams. The men's soccer team played there until 2012, when the university discontinued the program.

The 2006 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament was a tournament of 48 teams from NCAA Division I who played for the NCAA Championship in soccer. The College Cup Final Four was held at Hermann Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. All the other games were played at the home field of the higher-seeded team. The final was held on December 3, 2006. UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, Virginia, and Wake Forest made the Final Four. UC Santa Barbara beat Wake Forest and UCLA defeated Virginia. In the final UC Santa Barbara won the title game overcoming UCLA, 2–1.

Stony Brook Seawolves

The Stony Brook Seawolves are the athletic teams of Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, United States. The school competes at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and participates in the America East Conference for all sports except football, in which they participate as an associate member of the Colonial Athletic Association, and women's tennis, which competes as an associate member of the Missouri Valley Conference. The official colors of the Seawolves are red, grey, and blue.

Long Island Rough Riders (UWS) Football club

The Long Island Rough Riders, formerly known as the Long Island Lady Riders, is an American women's soccer team, based out of Long Island, New York. Founded in 1994, the team was under the ownership of Chuck Jacob, who at the time also owned the men's Long Island Rough Riders up until 1997 before selling it to Frank Boulton. At this time, the Rough Riders transitioned names and became known as the Lady Riders for several years. In 2007, the Rough Riders acquired territorial and franchise rights to the women's Lady Riders team. For the first time since 1997, the men's and women's teams would be under the same name and they have been ever since. The team is a member of United Women's Soccer, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. The team competes in the Eastern Conference. The Rough Riders were an original member of the USL W-League and played in all 21 seasons before the league disbanded in late 2015.

Hofstra Pride Sports teams that represent Hofstra University

The Hofstra Pride are composed of 17 teams representing Hofstra University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women’s basketball, cross-country running, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis and track and field. Men’s sports include baseball and wrestling. Women’s sports include volleyball, field hockey, and softball. The Pride compete in the NCAA Division I and have been members of the Colonial Athletic Association in most sports since 2001. They were previously members of the America East Conference.

F.C. New York Football club

F.C. New York was an American professional soccer team based first in Queens, New York City, and then Long Island, New York. The team played two seasons, starting in 2011 in the National Division of the USL Professional Division, the third tier of the American Soccer Pyramid and then moving to the National Premier Soccer League for 2012. The club did not finish its 2012 schedule before folding.

The Hofstra Pride men's lacrosse team represents Hofstra University in the CAA in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse competition. They play at James M. Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, New York.

The 2012 CAA Men's Soccer Tournament, known as the 2012 Virginia 529 CAA Men's Soccer Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the 30th edition of the CAA Men's Soccer Tournament, which determines the conference's automatic berth into the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament will be played at Drexel University in Philadelphia on the Vidas Athletic Center.

New York Cosmos Stadium

The tournament quarterfinals were held at campus sites, while the semifinals and final took place at Hofstra University Soccer Stadium in Hempstead, New York. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Northeastern Huskies, but they failed to defend their title, losing 2–1 to the Hofstra Pride in the final. The conference tournament title was the fourth for the Hofstra women's soccer program and the third for head coach Simon Riddiough.

The 2018 CAA Men's Soccer Tournament, was the 36th edition of the tournament. It determined the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament will began November 3 and concluded on November 11.

The 2019 CAA Men's Soccer Tournament, was the 37th edition of the tournament. It determined the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic berth into the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament. The tournament began November 8 and concluded on November 16.
