The Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, commonly known as the Rajiv Gandhi Zoo or Katraj Zoo, is located in Katraj, Pune district, Maharashtra State, India. It is managed by the Pune Municipal Corporation. The 130-acre (53 ha) zoo is divided into three parts: an animal orphanage, a snake park, and a zoo, and includes the 42-acre (17 ha) Katraj Lake.

Pune Metro is a mass rapid transit system serving the city of Pune, India. The system comprises 3 lines with a combined length of 54.58 km (33.91 mi), of which 12 km (7.5 mi) on two lines are operational as of March 2022. The 16.59 km (10.31 mi) Purple line from PCMC Bhavan to Swargate runs on an elevated viaduct between PCMC Bhavan to Range Hills, from where it goes underground. The Aqua line runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi covering a distance of 14.66 km (9.11 mi) on an elevated viaduct. The 23.33 km (14.50 mi) elevated Line 3 will run from the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi via Balewadi to Civil Court. All three lines will align at the Civil Court interchange station.
The New Katraj Tunnel is a highway tunnel located on the NH 48, Pune, in Maharashtra state of India. It is a three-laned tunnel which stretches up to 1,223 metres on Katraj Ghat. This tunnel replaced the Old Katraj Tunnel. The Tunnel was constructed using NATM.
Bhor Ghat is a mountain pass located between Palasdari and Khandala for railway and between Khopoli and Khandala on the road route in Maharashtra, India, on the crest of the Western Ghats.
Katraj is suburb of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra, and within the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation. Katraj is famous for its Peshwa-era lake that supplied water to the city during that period. The village lies at the foot of the Katraj Ghat or mountain pass on the main National Highway 4 connecting Pune with places south of the city, such as Kolhapur and Bangalore. In recent decades area surrounding the lake and the village of Katraj became part the City of Pune. The former rural area is now surrounded by residential complexes. Pune Ring Road is a road planned for construction in and around the city of Pune, India. Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority claimed that the road will decrease traffic congestion and provide better access to the fastest growing areas. The road will be 173 km long and will service twenty-nine villages by connecting all highways around the city. The cost is estimated at ₹104.08 billion (US$1.3 billion).

Rainbow BRTS is a bus rapid transit system in the city of Pune. The system is operated by the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML). The infrastructure has been developed by the Pune Municipal Corporation & Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Pune. The project currently envisages 113 km of dedicated bus corridors along with buses, bus stations, terminals and intelligent transit management system.

Chandanapuri Ghat is a mountain pass across the Sahyadri on Pune-Nasik National Highway (NH50). Chandanapuri village is on one end of this ghat and on the other is Ghargaon village. This ghat has some steep turns which make this ghat a difficult ghat of the Sahyadri. The traffic between Pune and Nasik is heavy due Mumbai, Pune and Nasik make Maharashtra's industrial triangle due to which this ghat is an important mountain pass in Maharashtra like the Bhor Ghat between Mumbai and Pune and Thal Ghat between Mumbai and Nasik.
The Peshwe Park, is located near Saras Baug in Pune, India. It is managed by the Pune Municipal Corporation. It is spread over an area of 7 acres. Now it is an energy park that stresses the importance of renewable energy in today’s times. The Adventure Park is also launched there. The idea behind the park is to remove the fear element in kids from a young age as was first mooted by its designer BS Deshmukh.
