Jiangling Motors Corporation Limited, abbreviated JMC, is a Chinese automobile manufacturer. According to company and press reports, the largest shareholder of JMC is Jiangling Investment, a company controlled equally by the state-owned enterprises Changan and Jiangling Motors Corporation Group (JMCG).
Changan Automobile Co., Ltd.(CCAG) is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Jiangbei, Chongqing. Changan Automobile traces its origins back to 1862 when Li Hongzhang set up a military supply factory, the Shanghai Foreign Gun Bureau. It was not until 1959 when the factory was repurposed to manufacture Changjiang Type 46 jeep that it became an automobile manufacturer.
Changan Ford is a Chinese automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Chongqing. It is a 50/50 joint venture between local Changan Automobile and US-based Ford Motor Company. The company's principal activity is the manufacture of Ford brand passenger cars for the Chinese market. The company was formed in December 2012 after the decision to restructure Changan Ford Mazda, whereby Ford and Mazda agreed to work with Changan as separate joint ventures. Currently, Changan Ford's entire production base is the largest manufacturing location outside Detroit, Michigan, for Ford. It has plants in Chongqing, Hangzhou & Harbin.
The SWM brand was founded in Milan, Italy in 1971. In 2014, SWM Automobile was acquired by Xinyuan Holdings Co., Ltd. in Chongqing, China. On July 27, 2016, the SWM brand was officially launched in Beijing, China. In July 2016, the SWM brand was launched in Beijing and officially entered the passenger car market. SWM Automobile has a design center in Milan, Italy, and a manufacturing base in Chongqing, China. From 2016 to 2022, SWM Automobile has launched a number of SUV models. With the rise of new energy technologies, SWM Automobile has begun to transform into new energy vehicles, including hybrid and pure electric models.
The Kaicene Honor S originally named the Oushang Honor or Oushang Ounuo (欧诺) is a 7-seater Compact MPV produced by Changan Automobile and originally sold under the Chana or Oushang brand and later the Kaicene brand.
The Oshan COS1° (科赛) is a 7-seater mid-sized crossover produced by Changan Automobile under the Oshan brand.
The Chana Star or Changan Star, more recently the Kaicene Star, is a series of trucks and microvans built and sold by Changan Automobile under the Chana brand since 1999. The Changan Star series was later repositioned under the Kaicene sub-brand of Changan Automobile.

The Changan Ruixing M80 is a MPV produced by Changan Automobile from 2013 under the Kaicene sub-brand. The official English name of Ruixing was later changed to Raesor. A smaller variant was launched in 2019 called the M60, positioned below the M80.
The Changan X7 Plus, or previously known as Oshan X7, is a 5 and 7-seater mid-size SUV produced by Changan Automobile under the Oshan brand. The vehicle was renamed to the Changan brand after the Oshan brand was discontinued in 2024.
Oshan was a passenger car brand under Changan Automobile. It was originally known as the Changan Commercial Vehicles, the division which focuses producing on micro vans and light trucks. The brand was renamed to Changan Oshan in April 2017 which marks it involvement in producing passenger vehicles.
The Avatr 11 is an electric mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Avatr Technology, a joint venture between Changan Automobile, lithium-ion battery provider CATL, and Huawei. It is the first vehicle under the Avatr brand. In 2018, a joint venture formed between Changan and Nio. Later, CATL replaced Nio as the second biggest shareholder when Nio withdrew during a financial crisis. Right now, Changan holds 40.99% of shares, and CATL owns 17.1%. Huawei has no shares in Avatr while supplying the hardware including electric motors and software for intelligent driving, connectivity, and infotainment.
The Avatr 12 is an electric executive car produced by Avatr Technology, a joint venture between Changan Automobile, lithium-ion battery provider CATL, and Huawei. It is the second vehicle under the Avatr brand.
Avatr Technology Co., Ltd. is a Chinese electric automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Chongqing. Avatr Technology is a premium EV brand Changan Automobile joint-ventured with multiple Chinese domestic foundations, technology supported by Huawei and battery provider CATL. The company was founded in 2018.
Deepal Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. or Shenlan Technology Co., Ltd. is an electric vehicle manufacturing company owned by Changan Automobile.
Shenzhen Yinwang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd, or trade as "Yinwang" is a company of Huawei which specialized in providing parts and hardware and software solutions for automotive manufacturers. The company was formerly known as Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution, the automobile business unit of Huawei.
There are currently about 150 active brands in the Chinese automobile market. Among them are 97 Chinese domestic brands and 43 joint venture (JV) brands. Before 2010, the traditional "Big Four" refers to the four major state-owned car manufacturers, SAIC, FAW, Dongfeng and Changan. Other Chinese car manufacturers, both from public and private sectors, like Geely, BAIC, BYD, Chery, GAC, Great Wall, JAC and Seres emerged as the major players with the expansion of Chinese automotive industry.
