Mosaic: World News from The Middle East was a daily news program offered by the free American satellite channel, LinkTV. "Mosaic" featured selections from television news programs produced by broadcast outlets throughout the Middle East. The news reports were presented unedited, translated into English when necessary. The "Mosaic" series was created by Stephen Olsson and Kim Spencer. Its founding producer was Jamal Dajani, a Palestinian American and it was co-produced by David Michaelis, an Israeli Jew. From late 2010 until 2013, the daily "Mosaic" program was co-produced by Lara Bitar and Abdullah Edwan.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting or Seda va Sima for short, formerly called National Iranian Radio and Television until the Iranian revolution of 1979, is an Iranian state-controlled media corporation that holds a monopoly of domestic radio and television services in Iran. It is also among the largest media organizations in Asia and the Pacific region and a regular member of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. Its head is appointed directly by the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The mass media in Iran is both privately and publicly owned but all channels are subject to censorship. In 2016, Iran had 178 newspapers, 83 magazines, 15,000 information sites and two million blogs. A special court has authority to monitor the print media and may suspend publication, or revoke the licenses, of papers or journals that a jury finds guilty of publishing anti-religious or slanderous material or information detrimental to the national interest. The Iranian media is prohibited from criticizing Islamic doctrine.

Jaam-e-Jam was a Persian-language television channel based in Los Angeles featuring content from Iranian immigrants, active from the early 1980s until 2017.

Manoto was an international free-to-air Persian language general entertainment channel launched in October 2010, owned by Marjan Television Network. It was based in London and its programs included documentaries, films, series, news and reports. The channel ceased satellite broadcasting on 31 January 2024, but continues to operate via social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.

Public diplomacy in the Islamic Republic of Iran refers to the public relations efforts to disseminate information about the Islamic Republic of Iran. Omid-e-Iran OITN is an American television network, inaugurated in 1995. The original mission was to broadcast television content and news to the Iranian American community of Southern California, however the scope broadened to the international Iranian community. The network was founded by Nader Rafiee, who started their journalist career on IRTV. In 2004, it set up an office in Dubai, closer to Iran, airing six hours of programming locally. The channel is free-to-air and financed by commercial advertising. Omid-e-Iran has programming in English and Persian languages.

Alireza Amirghassemi is the producer and founder of the television channel Persian Broadcasting Company (PBC) and a concert producer for Iranian singers in Los Angeles. In October 1989, he launched the Tapesh TV (PBC) channel with Massoud Jamali.
