American Samoa is an unincorporated territory of the United States located in the South Pacific Ocean, southeast of Samoa. Its location is centered around 14.2710° S, 170.1322° W. It is on the eastern border of the International Date Line, while independent Samoa is west of it.

Samoa Airways, formerly Polynesian Airlines, is the state-owned flag carrier airline of Samoa.
Blue Air is a Romanian airline headquartered in Bucharest, with its hub at Henri Coandă International Airport. Since 2016, it has become the largest Romanian airline by scheduled passengers flown. In 2017, Blue Air carried over 5 million passengers, a 40% increase over the 3.6 million passengers flown the previous year. As of February 2019, Blue Air flies to 57 scheduled destinations.
Fagali'i or Fagali'i-uta is a village on the island of Upolu in the Samoa archipelago approximately 5 kilometres south-east of Apia. It is in the electoral constituency of Vaimauga East which forms part of the larger political district of Tuamasaga.
American Airlines operates 963 aircraft, giving it the largest commercial airline fleet in the world. It primarily operates a mix of Airbus, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, as well as one narrow-body type manufactured by Embraer. American is currently in the process of the largest fleet renewal in its history, with over 240 aircraft remaining on order from Airbus and Boeing. In 2013, American Airlines announced a new livery and has completed repainting of all of its aircraft execpt the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 Series.
