Miss Indonesia 2019, the 15th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant was held on February 15, 2019, at MNC Studio, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce of Mexico attended the awarding night. Alya Nurshabrina as Miss Indonesia 2018 from West Java crowned her successor, Princess Mikhaelia Audrey Megonondo from Jambi. She will represent Indonesia on Miss World 2019.

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia that sends its winners to represent the country at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant also sends representatives to Miss Supranational and Miss Charm pageant, by giving the Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata titles to the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.

Miss Earth Indonesia is a discontinued beauty pageant from Indonesia that selected Indonesian representative in the Miss Earth pageant. The Miss Earth Indonesia competition was abolished in 2021 because of El John Pageant lost the franchise of Miss Earth and rebranded the pageant with Putri Bumi Indonesia From 2022, the licenseholder of Miss Earth pageant is PT. Mahakarya Duta Pesona Indonesia and make a new pageant named Putri Nusantara which Miss Earth Indonesia is selected as one of the winner from that pageant.

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Bali International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. It was the first time in Southeast Asia and it also was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in a Muslim majority country. Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any beauty pageant globally as of 2023. Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines at the end of the event, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title. This victory also made the Philippines the third country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants.

Miss Indonesia 2013 was the ninth edition of the Miss Indonesia beauty pageant, held on February 20, 2013 at Jakarta International Expo, Jakarta. The winner of Miss Indonesia 2013 will represent Indonesia in Miss World 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The current titleholder of Miss World, Wenxia Yu attended the awarding night, when Ines Putri of Bali crowned her successor.

Miss Indonesia 2014 is the 10th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant. It was held on 17 February 2014 at Hall D2 Jakarta International Expo, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2013, Megan Young of Philippines attended the awarding night. Vania Larissa as Miss Indonesia 2013 from West Kalimantan crowned her successor, Maria Rahajeng from West Sulawesi. She represented Indonesia in Miss World 2014 in London, England and place in Top 25.

The Miss World Spain Málaga contest is a regional beauty pageant of Spain and has been held since 2013. It is responsible for selecting local's representative to the Miss World pageant.

Miss Indonesia 2016 is the 12th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant. It was held on February 24, 2016, at Studio 14th RCTI, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain attended the awarding night.

Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. This edition also saw the crowning of the first ever moslem women to win Miss International, and was the first to win one of the four major international pageants for Indonesia.

Miss Indonesia 2017 is the 13th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant. It was held on April 22, 2017, at MNC Studio, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico attended the awarding night.

Miss International 2018, the 58th Miss International pageant, was held on 9 November 2018, at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin Liliana from Indonesia crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela at the end of the event. This marks Venezuela's eighth victory at Miss International - the most in the pageant's history. This is the third time in Miss International history that the finals night saw the return of the previous year's runners-up to crown their respective successors. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.

Puteri Indonesia 2019, the 23rd Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on March 8, 2019 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Sonia Fergina Citra, Puteri Indonesia 2018 of Bangka Belitung, crowned her successor, Frederika Alexis Cull of Jakarta SCR 1, at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2019, where she placed in the Top 10, the highest placement that an Indonesian representative ever achieved.

Miss Indonesia 2018 is the 14th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant. It was held on 22 February 2018, at MNC Studio, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar of India, attended the awarding night.

Miss Indonesia 2020, the 16th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant, was held on February 20, 2020 at MNC Studio, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta. Princess Megonondo of Jambi crowned her successor, Pricilia Carla Yules of South Sulawesi at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss World 2021 where she placed in the Top 6. Miss World 2019, Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica attended the awarding night.

Natasha Mannuela Halim is an Indonesian model, ballerina, fashion designer, architecture contractor and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Indonesia 2016, she represented Indonesia at the Miss World 2016, where she was crowned 2nd Runner-up and Miss World Asia 2016, the highest placement for Indonesia so far.
