Nickelodeon is a Hungarian channel that is aimed at children. The channel launched in January, 2000, [1] based on a block that the channel M-Sat launched in 1998 version of the U.S. television channel of the same name, launched from Nickelodeon Hungary is served by the Nickelodeon CEE

History

It was originally launched as a short block on August 1, 1998 on the youth entertainment channel M-Sat. On April 25, 1999 it had expanded to 12 hours, starting at 7AM. After M-Sat closed on October 5, 1999, the block was so successful that MTV Networks Europe decided to make a 12-hour channel out of the block. Nickelodeon Hungary started in January, 2000 [2] in the place of formerly M-Sat. From May 2004 to September 2012 was based on Nickelodeon Russia. [3]

  1. The logo's wordmark has been in use since 2010. Additionally, this logo is a variant meant to be used for white backgrounds; the main variant has a white wordmark in conjunction with a fully orange splat.

The channel now broadcasts 24/7 from March 31, 2009. Before the channel launched, some programs were broadcast on Super RTL and Disney Channel.

Master Film is a Polish dubbing studio based in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The studio was founded in 1992. The studio commissions dubbed and subtitled versions of content for its clients. Master Film is also one of two dubbing studios that Nickelodeon works with to produce Polish versions of material shown on it, the other being Start International Polska. The studio also works with TVN to produce versions of material shown on it and also animated shown on TVN 7's children block, Bajkowe kino.

The Nickelodeon Saturday programming block, known as Gotta See Saturdays from 2012 to 2013, Nick's New Saturday Night from 2014, Nick's Saturday Night from 2015 to 2017 and A Night of Premieres from 2018 to 2021 was the program block branding of Nickelodeon's Saturday morning and Saturday evening programming on the flagship channel in the United States. The morning block mainly features new premieres of Nicktoons programming, with the evening block consisting of the network's original live-action sitcoms. The branding launched on September 22, 2012, with season premieres of the respective series in both dayparts. The evening version of Gotta See Saturdays was a direct successor to the former Saturday night SNICK (1992–2005) and TEENick (2001–2009) blocks.

Kids & You, formerly Nick & You, is a two-hour children's block that airs on the Vietnamese TV channel You TV. The block first launched on September 15, 2016. The block features programming from the children's TV channel, Nickelodeon dubbed into Vietnamese. On January 1, 2023, the block was closed and replaced by Kids & You.
