Ravenscliffe is a housing estate in the Eccleshill ward of the city of Bradford District, in the English county of West Yorkshire. Ravenscliffe is located to the west of Fagley Beck and to the east of the A658 Harrogate Road. The buildings that were Ravenscliff farmhouse are situated off to the south in Fagley [1] while Ravenscliffe Woods are in Pudsey to the south east. [2]

On 10 July 2001, Ravenscliffe was subject to rioting on the estate, this was just after the Manningham riots. Now, Ravenscliffe has a large newly built housing development, two shops and an Indian takeaway. The Gateway centre which is adjacent to the shops, as a pre-school nursery and the centre also helps the disadvantaged, elderly and vulnerable tenants of the community.

On Harrogate Road can be found Eccleshill Swimming Pool, [3] a public house, [4] Holybrook Primary School playing fields, the clubhouse of Eccleshill Sports and Social Club and Victoria Park sports ground where Victoria Rangers play rugby football (inactive) [5] East of the playing fields is the Eccleshill Community Hospital [6] and Eccleshill Parkan area of grassland and the Eccleshill Adventure Playground. [7] In the middle of Ravenscliffe is a sub post office [8] and The Gateway Community and Children's Centre. [9] To the north Ravenscliffe merges with Greengates.

Eccleshill Adventure Playground, locally known as The Big Swing, is an Adventure playground that has operated in Eccleshill Park, Bradford, West Yorkshire since 2006. It is located beside the Ravenscliffe estate and provides open access adventure play for children and young people from five to sixteen years old. Most sessions however are for ages five to thirteen years old.

Eccleshill is a ward in the metropolitan borough of the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It contains 30 listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England. All the listed buildings are designated at Grade II, the lowest of the three grades, which is applied to "buildings of national importance and special interest". The ward is to the northeast of the centre of Bradford, and contains the former village of Eccleshill and the surrounding area, including the districts of Fagley and Greengates. Most of the listed buildings are houses, cottages and associated structures, farmhouses and farm buildings. The other listed buildings consist of a former chapel, a church, and a former mechanics' institute.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ripon Spa Baths</span> Grade II listed building in Ripon, North Yorkshire

The Ripon Spa Baths are a grade II listed building in Ripon, North Yorkshire, England. It was built between 1904–05 as a spa but failed to compete with the larger facilities at nearby Harrogate. In 1936 a new pool was constructed to the rear and the facility converted to a swimming baths. The building is noted for its ornate terracotta-clad frontage and received listed building protection in 1980. Harrogate Borough Council proposed selling the building for housing development in 2008 on the grounds that it required significant structural repair. The sale was cancelled but in 2021 the council made a new proposal to sell the structure.
