Valley Station is a former census-designated place in southwest Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. It is known for housing the largest mobile home community in all of Jefferson County. The population was 22,946 at the 2000 census. When the government of Jefferson County merged with the city of Louisville, Kentucky in 2003, residents of Valley Station also became citizens of Louisville Metro. As a result, Valley Station is now a neighborhood within the city limits of Louisville. It was named for its location in the valley between Muldraugh Hill and the Knobs.
Crescent Hill is a neighborhood four miles (6 km) east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky USA. This area was originally called "Beargrass" because it sits on a ridge between two forks of Beargrass Creek. The boundaries of Crescent Hill are N Ewing Ave to the St. Matthews city limit by Brownsboro Road to Lexington Road. Frankfort Avenue generally bisects the neighborhood.
Cherokee Gardens is a residential area six miles east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky USA. The area is a collection of small, unconnected subdivisions along Lexington Road and large estates built just outside Cherokee Park.
Algonquin is a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Hill street to the north, Cypress Street to the west, CSX tracks to the east, and Bernheim Lane and Algonquin Parkway to the south. It was established in the 1920s and is primarily a residential neighborhood, named for nearby Algonquin Park. Samuel D. Jones Park is located on Thirteenth and Bashear streets.

Its boundaries are Clarks Lane to the north, Poplar Level Road to the east, Preston Highway to the west, and the city of Audubon Park to the south. Iroquois is a neighborhood on the south side of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It is split into two parts by Beechmont. The neighborhood is roughly bounded by Hazelwood Avenue, Beechmont, Third Street, Kenwood Drive, and Iroquois Park. Located near the Louisville International Airport, residents have frequently complained of noise and challenged airport expansion. The largely residential neighborhood was developed as a suburb after World War II and into the 1950s.
Klondike is a neighborhood in eastern Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Due to being on the edge of the old city limits, its boundaries are irregular, it is south of Hikes Lane and west of Breckenridge Lane. Development began after World War II, with developers Edward Butler and Chester Cooper purchasing and subdividing 45 acres (180,000 m2) of the Graff farm and part of the Hikes family's Midlane farm.
City of Parks is a municipal project to create a continuous paved pedestrian and biking trail around the city of Louisville, Kentucky while also adding a large amount of park land. The project was announced on February 22, 2005. Current plans call for making approximately 4,000 acres (1,600 ha) of the Floyds Fork floodplain in eastern Jefferson County into park space, expanding area in the Jefferson Memorial Forest, and adding riverfront land and wharfs along the Riverwalk Trail and Levee Trail. There are also plans to connect the 100-mile (160 km) Louisville trail to a planned seven mile (11 km) trail connecting the Southern Indiana cities of New Albany, Clarksville and Jeffersonville.

The park resides in the Louisville neighborhood of Seneca Gardens, Kentucky. The park has been updated over the years to include restrooms and playground equipment that supplements several trails for people or horses. The park has several sport facilities available and also has an 18-hole professional golf course.
The Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Cahuilla band of Native Americans based in Coachella, California. They are one of the smallest tribal nations in the United States, consisting of only eight members, only one of whom is an adult. As of the 2010 census, the tribe had expanded its members to eleven.

Its boundaries are Seneca Park and Briar Hill Road to the west, Cannons Lane to the east, Interstate 64 to the south, and Lexington Road to the north. Also included are "areas immediately adjoining Shelbyville Rd. from Cannons Ln. to Fairfax Ave. and those along Nanz Ave. from Cannons Ln. to Macon Ave."
