History

Scrubby Creek Provisional School opened on 20 August 1934 under head teacher Miss V. Flynn. [3] In 1935, it became Scrubby Creek State School. It closed on 6 May 1960. [4] It was at 707 Rocks Road ( 26°12′19″S152°34′54″E / 26.20514°S 152.58153°E / -26.20514; 152.58153 (Scrubby Creek State School (former)) ). [5]
