It is a single-story, roughly cruciform frame building resting on a raised foundation of common bond brick erected in 1913. It features pointed-arch colored glass windows on three sides, fishscale shingles in the gables, and a three-story bell tower topped by a pyramidal roof. The interior presents a well-preserved example of early-20th-century church design with its ramped floor, semicircular seating, pressed metal ceiling, and period lighting fixtures.

The main block of the church consists of tall, red brick masonry walls erected above a basement of cut stone in the Italianate style. The 85 feet by 45 feet rectangular, gable roofed sanctuary features an engaged brick entrance / bell tower. The Remington Chapel features Tiffany stained glass windows installed in 1911 and 1928 in memory to members of the Remington family.

Marshallton United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church located at 1105 Stanton Road in Marshallton, New Castle County, Delaware. The original portion was built in 1886 as a one-room, 30-foot by 50-foot center-aisle plan frame structure with a gable roof. It sits on a foundation of "Brandywine Granite", a commonly found local building stone. In 1922, a 30-foot by 45-foot gabled frame addition was added on the east side of the original building. At the same time, Gothic arched commemorative stained glass windows and a bell tower were added. A three-story brick educational building and fellowship hall were added between 1949 and 1957.

State Street Methodist Episcopal Church, now known as State Street United Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist Episcopal church located at Fulton in Oswego County, New York. The original section was built in 1894, and expanded in 1900 with the addition of an auditorium in the Akron Plan. It consists of a one-story auditorium with 1+1⁄2-story education. A basement was added in 1906, and two-story wing in 1962. The church is constructed of red brick and is in the Romanesque style. It has a slate cross-gable roof and two asymmetrical towers. The larger bell tower is four stories tall and contains two levels of stained glass windows.
