Warangal Monorail was a proposed monorail system to serve the city of Warangal, Telangana, India with a stretch of 17 kilometers, from madikonda, Kazipet, Hanamkonda to warangal. [1] [2] [3]
In 2019 it was approved for construction. [4]
Telangana is a landlocked state in India situated on the south-central stretch of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. Hanumakonda district, is a district located in the northern region of the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters are located at Hanumakonda. The district borders the districts of Jangaon, Karimnagar, Warangal, Bhupalpally and Siddipet.

Boianapalli Vinod Kumar is an Indian politician and former Member of Parliament, presently serving as Vice-chairman of Telangana State Planning Board. He represented the Karimnagar constituency of Telangana State in the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019) and Hanamkonda constituency in the 14th Lok Sabha (2004-2009). He is one of the founding members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party and is presently a politburo member and served as party's deputy Floor Leader in the 16th Lok Sabha.
Warangal Airport also Mamnoor Airport is located at Mamnoor, Warangal in the state of Telangana, India. The largest airport at the time, remained in service until 1981. The Government of Telangana is trying to revive the airport with some instate services. Around 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) of land are available for the proposed airport.
Guntur Railway Division is one of the six divisions of the South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways. The division was sanctioned in 1995–96 and was fully operational on 1 April 2003, with its headquarters at Guntur.
