The Wilson Building, also known as the Wilson Buildings, is a historic structure located in downtown Clinton, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
The Clinton architectural firm of John Morrell & Son designed the building in the Chicago School style. [2] Daniel Haring was the contractor who built it from 1912 to 1914. Three other phases expanded the building's size over the years. [3] At one time the building housed a J. C. Penney store and a Walgreens. They both pulled out of the building and downtown Clinton in the late 1990s. [4] The upper floors of the building housed professional offices. The building was already deteriorating when the Jacobsen Group bought it in 1998, and they stabilized the structure. Rock Island, Illinois-based Rock Island Economic Growth Corp started converting the building into 33 apartments in 2021. The $13.88 million project is expected to be completed in Mid-2022. [4] Concurrently with the building renovation it continues to house commercial businesses.
At six stories and 73.18 feet (22 m), the Wilson Building is the tallest building in Clinton. [2] [5] The exterior is covered with white terra cotta. The building has a lively façade that is richly textured and ornamented. At the same time its lines retain their definition and appropriateness. [5]
The Crescent Warehouse Historic District is a 10.5-acre (4.2 ha) historic district in Downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The district is a collection of multi-story brick structures that formerly housed warehouses and factories. Most of the buildings have been converted into loft apartments. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The F. H. Miller House is a historic building located in the central part of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The house served as the official residence for two of Davenport's Catholic bishops and as a bed and breakfast. The building now houses the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations for St. Ambrose University, and is called Alumni House. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.
Davenport Bank and Trust Company was for much of the 20th century the leading bank of the Quad Cities metropolitan area and the surrounding region of eastern Iowa and western Illinois. It was at one time Iowa's largest commercial bank, and the headquarters building has dominated the city's skyline since it was constructed in 1927 at the corner of Third and Main Streets in downtown Davenport, Iowa. It was acquired by Norwest Bank of Minneapolis in 1993 and now operates as part of Wells Fargo following a 1998 merger of the two financial institutions. The historic building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 under the name of its predecessor financial institution American Commercial and Savings Bank. In 2016 the National Register approved a boundary increase with the Davenport Bank and Trust name. It was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District in 2020. It remains the tallest building in the Quad Cities, and is today known as Davenport Bank Apartments as it has been redeveloped into a mixed-use facility housing commercial, office, and residential space.
The Forrest Block is a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District.
The Davenport Hotel was a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District. It was an apartment building called The Davenport. A rear portion of the building collapsed in 2023. The majority of the building was demolished on June 12, 2023. Several remaining sections were demolished over the next three days.
The Central Fire Station is located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States and serves as the headquarters of the Davenport Fire Department, as well as the downtown fire station. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979. The Northwest Davenport Turner Society Hall is significant for its association with Davenport's German community, which was the city's largest and most influential immigrant group. It also played an important role in the civic and cultural life of the northwest Davenport German community.
The Dr. Kuno Struck House, also known as Clifton Manor, is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 1996. The house, along with its garage, became a part of the Marycrest College campus and they were both listed as contributing properties in the Marycrest College Historic District in 2004.

The Lambrite–Iles–Petersen House is a historic home located in the Hamburg Historic District in Davenport, Iowa, United States. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The house was individually listed on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 2012. This was the first residence built in the city in the Italian villa style and one of the earliest examples in the state of Iowa. The house is named for three of its early owners: Joseph Lambrite, a lumber mill owner who built the house, Dr. Thomas Iles, a physician, and John H.C. Petersen, who founded Davenport's largest department store that grew to become Von Maur.

The main building was demolished in 2018.

The Priester Building is a historic building located just north of Downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The low-rise office building was built for the headquarters of Priester Construction Company, and its real estate division, in 1958. The well-preserved structure is significant as an excellent example of the late International Style. It was designed by San Francisco architect John ("Jack") W. Kruse, formerly of Davenport, and the local architectural firm of Parish and Richardson. That firm has its roots in the architectural practice of prominent Davenport architect Frederick G. Clausen. It is believed that this was the first modernistic commercial design in Davenport, and it brought West Coast cutting-edge architecture to the Midwest. It is also noteworthy for its location in the side of a hill and the difficulties that presented for construction, and the first-ever use of a plastic shell for winter-time construction in the city. The T-shaped building rises three-stories to the height of 39.29 feet (11.98 m). It features perimeter landscaping, a curved mosaic wall on the west elevation to deflect traffic noise from Brady Street, views to the south and west that reflected weather and sun conditions on design and operating conditions, and it is fully air conditioned.
