The 2010 FIM Bydgoszcz Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the eleventh and final race of the 2010 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on October 9 at the Polonia Stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland. [1]

The 2010 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 16th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 65th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the tenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company. The series began on 24 April in Leszno and finished on 9 October in Bydgoszcz.

Polonia Bydgoszcz Stadium football stadium

Polonia Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It is currently used mostly for speedway matches but also for association football and is the home stadium of Polonia Bydgoszcz. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people and was opened in 1924 by president Stanisław Wojciechowski.

Bydgoszcz City in Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Poland

Bydgoszcz is a city in northern Poland, on the Brda and Vistula rivers. With a city population of 350,178, and an urban agglomeration with more than 470,000 inhabitants, Bydgoszcz is the eighth-largest city in Poland. It has been the seat of Bydgoszcz County and the co-capital, with Toruń, of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999. Prior to this, between 1947 and 1998, it was the capital of the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship, and before that, of the Pomeranian Voivodeship between 1945 and 1947.

The Bydgoszcz Grand Prix was won by Polonia' rider Andreas Jonsson who beat Chris Harris, wild card Janusz Kołodziej and Rune Holta in the Final. [2]

There was a second time, when two Grand Prix event in Poland was named of Poland after 1999' Wrocław and Bydgoszcz meetings.

The 1999 Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the third race of the 1999 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on 3 July at the Olympic Stadium in Linköping, Sweden

The 1998 Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the fifth race of the 1999 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on 28 September in the Polonia Stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland

Riders

The Speedway Grand Prix Commission nominated Janusz Kołodziej as Wild Card, and Przemysław Pawlicki and Artur Mroczka both as Track Reserves. [3] Injured Emil Sayfutdinov will be replaced by first Qualified Substitutes rider Piotr Protasiewicz. [4] The Draw was made on September 24 at 13:00 CEST by Deputy President of Bydgoszcz Maciej Grześkowiak. [5]
