A special election is scheduled to be held in the U.S. state of Delaware to elect a new member for District 5 in the Delaware Senate, representing part of northern New Castle County on February 15. The election will fill a vacancy caused by the election of incumbent Democrat Kyle Evans Gay as Lieutenant Governor of Delaware. The election will take place concurrently with a special election in Senate District 1. [1]
