The 2024 Delaware gubernatorial election was held on November 5, 2024, to elect the governor of the U.S. state of Delaware, concurrently with the 2024 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the United States Senate, elections to the United States House of Representatives, and various state and local elections. Incumbent Democratic governor John Carney is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term in office. [a] Primary elections took place on September 10, 2024, in which Democratic New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and Republican state representative Mike Ramone won their parties' nominations. [1]

Incumbent Republican governor Ron DeSantis won re-election in a landslide and defeated the Democratic Party nominee, Charlie Crist, who served as governor of Florida from 2007 to 2011 as a Republican and later as an independent. No Democrat has been elected governor of Florida since 1994.

The 2024 United States Senate election in Montana was held on November 5, 2024, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Montana. Incumbent Democratic Senator Jon Tester lost re-election to a fourth term, being defeated by Republican nominee Tim Sheehy. Sheehy's victory gave Republicans control of both of Montana's Senate seats for the first time since 1911. Primary elections took place on June 4, 2024. Although Tester outperformed Kamala Harris in the concurrent presidential election by 12.8 points, which was the strongest overperformance of any Democratic Senate candidate, it was still not enough to win, as Donald Trump carried Montana by nearly 20 points.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Washington gubernatorial election</span>

The 2024 Washington gubernatorial election was held on November 5, 2024. The top-two primary was held on August 6. Incumbent Democratic Governor Jay Inslee was eligible to seek re-election to a fourth term but decided that he would not do so. The Democratic nominee, state Attorney General Bob Ferguson, defeated the Republican nominee, former Congressman Dave Reichert, to succeed Inslee. Inslee, who previously served in the U.S. House, was first elected governor in 2012 and won re-election in 2016 and 2020. Washington has not had a Republican governor since John Spellman left office in 1985, the longest streak of Democratic leadership of any state in the country and the third-longest streak of one-party leadership after South Dakota and Utah. Ferguson defeated Reichert with 55.51% of the vote in the general election. He also became the first Democrat to win Clallam County since 2000.

The 2024 Indiana gubernatorial election was held on November 5, 2024, to elect the next governor of Indiana, concurrently with the 2024 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections. Incumbent Republican governor Eric Holcomb is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third consecutive term in office. Primary elections took place on May 7, 2024, in which Republican U.S. Senator Mike Braun, Democratic former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick, and Libertarian software engineer Donald Rainwater won their respective parties' nominations. Braun defeated McCormick with 54.5 percent of the vote in the general election.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Missouri gubernatorial election</span>

The 2024 Missouri gubernatorial election was held on November 5, 2024, to elect the governor of Missouri, concurrently with the 2024 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the United States Senate, the United States House of Representatives, and various state and local elections. Incumbent Republican governor Mike Parson is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a second full term in office due to having served more than two years of predecessor Eric Greitens' unexpired term following his resignation in June 2018. Primary elections took place on August 6, 2024. Mike Kehoe, the incumbent lieutenant governor, won the Republican nomination, while Crystal Quade, the Minority Leader of the Missouri House of Representatives, won the Democratic nomination. Kehoe defeated Quade in the general election with 59.2 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Democratic Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term in office; she instead unsuccessfully ran for governor. The Democratic primary was held on September 10, in which state senator Kyle Evans Gay won the nomination. As Ruth Briggs King was the only Republican candidate who qualified, the Republican primary was cancelled.
