The 2024 West Virginia Attorney General election was held on November 5, 2024, to elect the next attorney general of West Virginia, concurrently with the 2024 U.S. presidential election, as well as various state and local elections, including for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and governor of West Virginia. Incumbent Republican Attorney General Patrick Morrisey was eligible to run for re-election to a fourth term but has decided instead to run for governor. Republican state auditor JB McCuskey defeated Democratic attorney Teresa Toriseva with 70.02% of the vote. [1]
