Vishnu Deo Sai is an Indian politician currently serving as the 4th Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He is the first senior tribal leader in Central India. Sai is the member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He currently represents Kunkuri in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a credit-linked subsidy scheme by the Government of India to facilitate access to affordable housing for the low and moderate-income residents of the country. It envisaged a target of building 2 crore (20 million) affordable houses by 31 March 2022. It has two components:Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(Urban) (PMAY-U) for the urban poor and Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) (PMAY-G and also PMAY-R) for the rural poor,the former administered by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the latter by Ministry of Rural Development. This scheme converges with other schemes to ensure that houses have a toilet,Saubhagya Scheme for universal electricity connection,Ujjwala Yojana LPG connection,access to drinking water and Jan Dhan banking facilities,etc.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana,previously Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana (RGJAY),is a Universal health care scheme run by the Government of Maharashtra for the poor people of the state of Maharashtra who holds one of the 4 cards issued by the government;Antyodaya card,Annapurna card,yellow ration card or orange ration card. The scheme was first launched in 8 districts of the Maharashtra state in July 2012 and then across all 35 districts of the state in November 2015. It provides free access to medical care in government empanelled 488 hospitals for 971 types of diseases,surgeries and therapies costing up to Rs.1,50,000 per year per family. As of 17 January 2016,around 11.81 lakh procedures amounting to Rs.1827 crore have been performed on patients from 7.13 lakh beneficiary families which includes over 7.27 lakh surgeries and therapies. The scheme is called successful amid some allegations of hospitals directly or indirectly causing patients to incur out-of-pockets expenses on some part of the treatment.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 1 May 2016 to distribute 50 million LPG connections to women of Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. A budgetary allocation of ₹80 billion (US$960 million) was made for the scheme. The scheme was replaced by the Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 in 2021.

The airport serves Ambikapur,one of the major city of Chhattisgarh state. It also serves the nearby towns of Surajpur,Baikunthpur,Bhatgaon,Mainpat,Sitapur,Brishrampur,Balrampur,Ramanujganj,etc. therefore this airport provides air connectivity to entire Northern Chhattisgarh.It is currently not operational and the date of opening is not yet announced by the authorities.
Tribhuvaneshwar Saran Singh Deo,also known by his initials as T. S. Singh Deo or T. S. Baba,is an Indian politician from Ambikapur,Chhattisgarh. He was the First Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from June 2023 to December 2023.
Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana is a universal health coverage scheme launched by Chief Minister of Odisha,Naveen Patnaik. The program extends coverage to approximately 70 lakh families,with the state government allocating a budget of 250 crore rupees. Services:
- Free health services are available in all state government health care facilities,starting from the subcenter level up to the district headquarter hospital level,with Swasthya Mitras deployed at help desk.
- Annual health coverage of Rs 5 lakhs per family and 7 lakhs per female members of the family.
The Nyuntam Aay Yojana was a proposed social welfare programme by the Indian National Congress in its 2019 general election manifesto. It promised that the party,if voted to power in the 2019 Indian general election,would enact a law under which it would distribute cash to the bottom 20 per cent of India's families in terms of wealth,as a minimum guarantee programme. These households would each receive up to ₹72,000 (US$860) a year,a program the Congress claimed would benefit 250 million people in India.
The Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY)(http://pmmsy.dof.gov.in/) is an initiative launched by the Government of India to establish a comprehensive framework and reduce infrastructural gaps in the fisheries sector. The scheme was announced by the Finance Minister,Nirmala Sitharaman during her speech in the parliament of India while presenting the Union budget for 2019–20 on 5 July 2019. The government intends to place India in the first place in Fish production and processing by implementing Neeli Kranti (transl. Blue Revolution). This scheme is in line with governments aim to double the farmers' income by 2022–23.
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana is a food security welfare scheme announced by the Government of India on March 26 2020,during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The program is operated by the Department of Food and Public Distribution under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs,Food and Public Distribution. But the nodal ministry is Ministry of Finance.The scale of this welfare scheme makes it the largest food security program in the world benefiting 81.35 crore in India.
Mata Kaushalya temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Mata Kaushalya,mother of Lord Ram. It is the only temple in the world dedicated to Mata Kaushalya. It is located at Chandkhuri village around 27km away from Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
The 2021 Sukma-Bijapur attack was an ambush carried out by the Naxalite-Maoist militants from the Communist Party of India (Maoist) against Indian security forces on 3 April 2021 at Sukma-Bijapur border near Jonaguda village which falls under Jagargunda police station area in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh,the ensuing gunfight lead to the killing of 22 security personnel as well as 20 Naxalites. The death toll was the worst for Indian security forces fighting the Naxalites since 2017.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Chhattisgarh in two phases on 7 November and 17 November 2023 to elect all 90 members of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results declared on 3 December 2023.

In the state budget presented by the Chhattisgarh government in India,a provision of Rs 5700 crore was made for the welfare of farmers through which Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was launched on 21 May 2020,the martyrdom day of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The Godhan Nyay Yojana was introduced by the Baghel-led Chhattisgarh government on July 21,2020,with the goals of promoting organic farming,generating new employment possibilities in both rural and urban areas,promoting cow rearing and cow protection,and providing financial benefits to cattle producers. According to the plan,the government will buy cow dung from farmers and livestock raisers for ₹2 per kilogram. Following procurement,members of the Women Self-Help Group will transform the cow dung into vermicompost and other products,which will then be sold to farmers as an organic manure for ₹8 per kilogram,discouraging the use of chemical fertilizers.
