California Legion, are a professional rugby union team in Major League Rugby (MLR), based in California. The team was founded in 2025, after San Diego Legion and Rugby Football Club Los Angeles agreed to unite under one moniker to create a single, rugby franchise for California. [1] [2] [3] They will compete in MLR from the 2026 season onwards.
