The chairperson of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is the chief executive officer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the presiding officer of the Metro Manila Council. [1] The post is also known as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) when the post is held in an acting capacity.
The Chairperson of the MMDA is appointed by the President of the Philippines. The appointment of the chairperson is subject to the same disqualifications and prohibitions of a member of the Cabinet but not subject for a confirmation from the Commission on Appointments. [1]
The Chairperson of the MMDA is also the presiding officer of the Metro Manila Council. The Chairperson is tasked to execute the policies and measures approved by the Metro Manila Council as well as oversee the management and operations of the MMDA. [1]

The Commission on Elections, abbreviated as COMELEC, is one of the three constitutional commissions of the Philippines. Its principal role is to enforce all laws and regulations relative to the conduct of elections in the Philippines.
Bayani Flores Fernando was a Filipino politician, businessman, and professional mechanical engineer who served as the representative for Marikina's 1st congressional district from 2016 to 2022. The son of a former Marikina mayor, Gil Fernando, he served as the ninth mayor of Marikina from 1992 to 2001, leaving the office having transformed the city from a former municipality to a model Philippine city. The Tullahan River is a river in the Philippines. It is located to the north of Manila and has an approximate length of 27.1 kilometers (16.8 mi). It starts at the La Mesa Reservoir in Quezon City and flows through Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, and Navotas and empties into Manila Bay. In 2019, San Miguel Corporation pledged ₱1 billion for the cleanup of the Tullahan River as part of the Manila Bay rehabilitation effort.
Benjamin Santos Abalos Sr. is a Filipino politician who currently serves as the mayor of Mandaluyong, Metro Manila since 2022, a position he also held from 1986 to 1987 and from 1988 to 1998. He also served as a chairman of the Commission on Elections and chairman of the MMDA. He is the father of former Mandaluyong mayor and Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr.

The Luna Awards are awards given annually by the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) to recognize the outstanding achievements of the Filipino film industry.
