A small farming village situated in the Pays de Caux, some 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Dieppe, at the junction of the D53 and the D70 roads.

It consists of 63 communes, and its seat is in Cany-Barville. Its area is 387.5 km², and its population was 27,799 in 2018.
