A farming village in the Pays de Caux, situated some 27 miles (43 km) northeast of Le Havre, at the junction of the D17 and D69 roads.

The Canton of Valmont is a former canton situated in the Seine-Maritime département and in the Haute-Normandie region of northern France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 22 communes, which joined the canton of Fécamp in 2015. It had a total of 11,309 inhabitants (2012).

The communauté de communes du Canton de Valmont was located in the Seine-Maritime département of the Normandy region of northern France. It was created in January 2000. It was merged into the Communauté d'agglomération de Fécamp Caux Littoral in January 2017.
