Freedom is a town in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 2,405 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northeast corner of Cattaraugus County.
Palmyra is a village in Wayne County, New York, United States. The population was 3,536 at the 2010 census. The village, along with the town, is named after Palmyra in present-day Syria.
Owens is a small unincorporated crossroads community at the intersection of Dahlgren Road, Windsor Drive, and Owens Drive in King George County, Virginia, United States. State Routes 206 and 218 meet at this intersection, with 206 going east towards U.S. Route 301 and Dahlgren, 218 going south towards US 301 and Colonial Beach and 206 and 218 joined together going west towards Arnolds Corner and Fredericksburg. The eastern part of the community is within the Dahlgren census-designated place.

The Calvary Episcopal Church is located at 3766 Clifton Avenue, in the Clifton. It is part of the Clifton Avenue Historic District. Its Sunday School is a historic building listed in the National Register on March 3, 1980.
St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church located at St. Inigoes, St. Mary's County, Maryland. The church and its adjacent burial ground are situated on about two acres of land that are enclosed within a late 19th-century iron fence. The church was constructed between 1785 and 1787, with the sacristy added in 1817. The church walls are 21 inches thick, of brick laid in Flemish bond. Atop the roof is a small wooden belfry that in 1933 replaced a larger one in this same location.
Clarksville is an unincorporated community in Baltimore Hundred, Sussex County, Delaware, United States located just west of Millville. It is centered, more or less, along Delaware Route 26. Many tourists from the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area pass through the town on their way to and from the Delaware Beaches.
The Freedom Rides Museum is located at 210 South Court Street in Montgomery, Alabama, in the building which was until 1995 the Montgomery Greyhound Bus Station. It was the site of a violent attack on participants in the 1961 Freedom Ride during the Civil Rights Movement. The May 1961 assaults, carried out by a mob of white protesters who confronted the civil rights activists, "shocked the nation and led the Kennedy Administration to side with civil rights protesters for the first time."
The Unitarian Church is a historic American church on Exeter Road in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. Built in 1838, it is a rare example of an in antes Greek Revival temple front in the state, and is distinguished by the presence of Victorian trompe-l'œil panels and ribbing on its interior walls. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is presently used for services in the summertime.
Cavendish Universalist Church is a historic church building on Vermont Route 131 in Cavendish, Vermont. It was built in 1844 by Scottish immigrant stonemasons, using a "snecked" ashlar stone finish that is rare in the state outside the immediate area. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
St. Mary's of the Mountain Church was an historic Roman Catholic church on New York State Route 23A in Hunter, Greene County, New York. The church was completed in 1839 and is a one-story, four by two bay, post and beam frame structure on a modern concrete foundation. It features a moderately pitched gable roof, narrow clapboard sheathing, two engaged corner towers, and a Romanesque style engaged entry / bell tower. Also on the property is the parish cemetery.

This congregation is overseen by the Presbytery of Newton. This church was closed for a few years. It is now Faithfulness Church, a Chinese Protestant Church.

The district was designated as a Michigan Historic Site on April 19, 1990, and added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 4, 2007.
Peninsula Village Historic District is a historic district located on both sides of Ohio State Route 303 in Peninsula, Ohio. The district encompasses the historic core of Peninsula, which is situated inside of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Peninsula was settled by Hermon Bronson in 1824 and platted in 1837; in its early years, it was a stop along the Ohio and Erie Canal and home to a mill on the Cuyahoga River. Canal traffic and the construction of the Valley Railway in 1875 spurred the village's continued economic growth through the nineteenth century. The district includes examples of Greek Revival, Federal style, and Italianate architecture, all of which were popular nineteenth century styles. Significant buildings in the district include the Town Hall, a railroad depot, Peninsula High School, the G.A.R. Hall, and three churches.
The Thetford Hill Historic District encompasses the well-preserved 19th-century village center of Thetford Hill in Thetford, Vermont. Developed between 1792 and about 1860 and located at what is now the junction of Vermont Route 113 and Academy Road, it includes mainly residential buildings, as well as several buildings of Thetford Academy and the 1785-88 Thetford Meetinghouse, one of the state's oldest churches in continuous use. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
Old Bridge, also known as the Historic Village of Old Bridge, is an unincorporated community located within East Brunswick in Middlesex County, New Jersey. It is on the South River, a tributary of the Raritan River. The community is named after the first bridge built here to cross the river, the South River Bridge. After other bridges were built crossing the river, it became known as the Old Bridge. The Old Bridge Historic District, encompassing much of the village, is listed on the state and national registers of historic places.
