Auburndale is a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Palatka Road to the north, and New Cut Road and Third Street to the east.
Edgewood is a neighborhood on the south side of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Fern Valley Road to the south, I-65 to the west and Preston Highway to the north. Streets were laid out in the 1920s, but development was halted by the Great Depression. The area was also far from the city and had poor infrastructure. An improved sewage system after World War II and the large expansion of Standiford Field spurred development of Edgewood and its annexation by Louisville in 1957.
Hawthorne is a neighborhood in eastern Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Taylorsville Road, Hawthorne Avenue, Bardstown Road and I-264. The land was once part of John Speed's Farmington estate, known for its plantation house built around 1815–16. The neighborhood is primarily residential and was first subdivided in 1909, but saw its fastest grown in the 1920s. It takes its name from Hawthorne Avenue, and most of the other streets are named after writers or poets. Sullivan University is located in the neighborhood.
Hazelwood is a neighborhood on the south side of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Manslick Road to the west, I-264 to the north, Taylor Boulevard to the east, and Hazelwood Avenue to the south. Its development, as with other nearby neighborhoods, was spurred by the opening of Iroquois Park in the early 1890s. E.E. Meacham first subdivided the land in 1899. A larger subdivision, called Bergmann's Addition, was financed in 1902. The Hazelwood Center, opened in 1907, is a former tuberculous center and since 1971 a hospital for the mentally handicapped located in the neighborhood.
Brownsboro-Zorn is a neighborhood in northeast Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Brownsboro Road to the south, Birchwood Avenue to the west, Mellwood Avenue to the north, and Mockingbird Valley to the east. Residential development began in 1911 between Birchwood and Zorn Avenue, a wide street which bisects the neighborhood. The core of the neighborhood is residential, but there is substantial commerce along Brownsboro Road. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center is located along Zorn.
Cloverleaf is a neighborhood in southwest Louisville, Kentucky. Its boundaries are I-264 to the north, Manslick Road (KY-1931) to the east, Gagel Avenue to the south, and the Illinois Central railroad tracks to the west. It takes its name from Cloverleaf Acres, a development in the area. It is residential, and was annexed by Louisville in 1958.
Prestonia is a neighborhood five miles southeast of downtown Louisville, Kentucky, U.S. Its boundaries are Preston Highway, Interstate 65, Interstate 264 and the Norfolk Southern Railway tracks. Many of Prestonia's streets are named after Kentucky counties. It was probably named for the local highway, which was in turn named after early Louisville landowner Col. William Preston.

Worthington is a neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky located along Brownsboro Road and Ballardsville Road. In the 1870s, a toll gate was built on Brownsboro Road at its intersection with Ballardsville Road. In the early 1900s the area was primarily potato farms, but residential development which began in the 1940s accelerated with the opening of Interstates 71 and 265 in the late 1960s.

Springdale is a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky located along Brownsboro Road and Barbour Lane. The community is named for the family farm purchased by Laurence Young and his family in 1830, which was intersected by present-day Brownsboro Road, with the estate on the south side of the road. The Young family's Springdale farm today is the site of the Standard Country Club, as well as portions of Barbourmeade, Goose Creek and Brownsboro Farm. Though it is not a formally recognized neighborhood or district within Louisville, nor does it have official boundaries, older businesses and institutions in the community still retain the Springdale name, and the name was used to refer to the area until it was subdivided in the 1950s and '60s.
Valley Downs is a neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, USA located along Omar Khayyam Boulevard south of Johnsontown Road.
Lake Louisvilla is a neighborhood partially located in Louisville, Kentucky. It is located between Westport Road in Louisville and KY 22 in Oldham County. Lake Louisvilla was developed in the 1920s as a summer resort for people living in the city of Louisville. The state of Kentucky drained the lake in the late 1980s due to safety concerns regarding the stability of a dam.
Springhurst is a large, unincorporated area in Northeast Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Developed heavily in the 1990s, it is now considered an edge city of Louisville, and is home to one of the largest shopping areas in the city, with the largest concentration of shops along the Gene Snyder Freeway from Westport Road to Ballardsville Road. The Shopping Center was purchased in December 2023 by Kaden Companies and Marquee Capitol. Large residential areas also exist on either side of the shopping areas.

Rockcreek-Lexington Road is an irregular-shaped neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Seneca Park and Briar Hill Road to the west, Cannons Lane to the east, Interstate 64 to the south, and Lexington Road to the north. Also included are "areas immediately adjoining Shelbyville Rd. from Cannons Ln. to Fairfax Ave. and those along Nanz Ave. from Cannons Ln. to Macon Ave."
