Eva Susanne Lingheim now Brune (born 9 August 1954) is a Swedish former art director. She won an Academy Award in the category Best Art Direction with Anna Asp for the film Fanny and Alexander . [1]
Ernst Ingmar Bergman was a Swedish film director, screenwriter, and producer. Fanny and Alexander is a 1982 period drama film written and directed by Ingmar Bergman. The plot focuses on two siblings and their large family in Uppsala, Sweden during the first decade of the twentieth century. Following the death of the eponymous children's father, their mother remarries a prominent bishop who becomes abusive towards Alexander for his vivid imagination.
The Sacrifice is a 1986 drama film written and directed by Andrei Tarkovsky. Starring Erland Josephson, it centers on a middle-aged intellectual who attempts to bargain with God to stop an impending nuclear holocaust. His performance earned him a 2011 European Film Award nomination for Best Actor. Other parts include the role of Carl Hamilton from the novels by Jan Guillou, Beorn in The Hobbit, as well as Jakob Nyman in the British TV series Sex Education.
The Making of Fanny and Alexander is a 1984 Swedish documentary film directed by Ingmar Bergman which traces the making of his film Fanny and Alexander. Its running length is 110 minutes and it is photographed by Arne Carlsson. It debuted at the Swedish Film Institute on 16 September 1984, with Bergman in attendance to give a speech. It then aired with a television repeat of Fanny and Alexander in Sweden on 18 August 1986. In 2011 in Region A, The Criterion Collection released The Making of Fanny and Alexander on Blu-ray as part of their release of Fanny and Alexander.
