Under the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program, Miami Air is contracted by the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command for transporting troops and cargo.

Omni is an FAA Part 121 certificated airline with IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration. On October 2, 2018 Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) announced it will acquire Omni subject to regulatory approval.
