• 1948 - Palazzo D'Alì becomes Trapani’s city hall

• 1956 - Trapani–Erice Cable Car inaugurated
• 1960 - Stadio Polisportivo Provinciale (stadium) opens in nearby Erice.
• 1964 - Trapani–Birgi Airport inaugurated
