Tracer is the public bus system for the city of Tracy, California. [1] Unique among transit agencies, since 2002 the service operates as free public transport every April and December. [2] [ citation needed ]
The service provides seven circulator routes. The buses are designated by letters A through G. [1] Fares range from free to $1.50 depending on the category. [1] Most routes operate from approximately 7 AM to 7 PM weekdays and 9 AM to 5 PM on 30–60 minute headways. [1] Service is provided to the Tracy ACE station and to West Valley Mall. [1] Major hubs for this bus system are Tracy Transit Center with connections to San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) bus lines to neighboring communities in addition to Greyhound Lines and Amtrak Thruway services. The service's second hub is at Walmart and provides intercity connections to Stockton through RTD. The Tracer line A connects with Amtrak Thruway buses at the Tracy Amtrak Bus Stop at Clover Road near I-205 and Tracy Boulevard. Line 6 runs six daily trips in either direction between Stockton and San Jose, California while line 34 twice daily trips to San Francisco. [3] [4] San Joaquin RTD operates commuter service between Stockton and Dublin/Pleasanton BART station via Tracy on line 150.
Commuter Routes operate Monday to Friday only. There is no service on Sundays.

The San Joaquins is a passenger train service operated by Amtrak in California's San Joaquin Valley. Six daily round trips run between its southern terminus at Bakersfield and Stockton, with onward service to Sacramento and Oakland.
The Altamont Corridor Express is a commuter rail service in California, connecting Stockton and San Jose during peak hours only. ACE is named for the Altamont Pass, through which it runs. Service is managed by the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, and operations are contracted to Herzog Transit Services. The 86-mile (138 km) route includes ten stops, with travel time about 2 hours and 12 minutes end-to-end. In 2022, the line had a ridership of 389,100, or about 2,200 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2023. ACE uses Bombardier BiLevel Coaches, MPI F40PH-3C locomotives, and Siemens Charger locomotives.
Wheels is a bus service that provides public transportation in the Tri-Valley Region of the San Francisco Bay Area, in the United States. Started in 1986, Wheels offers service to various communities in three cities, and connects to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) trains for connections to and from the greater Bay Area and Central Valley. In 2022, the system had a ridership of 1,019,400, or about 4,100 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2023.

Bakersfield station is an intermodal facility in Bakersfield, California. It is the southern terminus of Amtrak California's San Joaquins route, with Amtrak Thruway buses continuing to Amtrak stations and bus stops throughout Southern California and Nevada. The station opened with a celebration on July 4, 2000. It contains an 8,300-square-foot (770 m2) train station with two platforms and three tracks, as well as a 17-bay bus station.
Martinez station is an Amtrak passenger train station in Martinez, California, United States. Located at the west end of downtown Martinez, the station has one side platform and one island platform, which serve three of the four tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad Martinez Subdivision. It is served by the daily California Zephyr and Coast Starlight long-distance trains, five daily round trips of the San Joaquin corridor service, and fifteen daily round trips of the Capitol Corridor service. Martinez is also served by Amtrak Thruway buses plus County Connection, Tri-Delta Transit, and WestCAT local buses.

The Salt Lake City Intermodal Hub is a multi-modal transportation hub in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States served by the Blue Line of UTA's TRAX light rail system that operates in Salt Lake County and by the FrontRunner, UTA's commuter rail train that operates along the Wasatch Front with service from Ogden in central Weber County through Davis County, Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County to Provo in central Utah County. Service at the intermodal hub is also provided by Amtrak, and Greyhound Lines, as well as UTA local bus service.
Redding station is an intercity train station served by Amtrak's Coast Starlight, located in Redding, California, United States. The depot was built by the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1923 and opened on February 5, 1924. The train station has sheltered waiting areas on both platforms and a parking lot near the southbound platform.

YARTS provides scheduled fixed route service between Yosemite National Park and gateway communities. Service operates year-round on Highway 140, providing access to Merced and Mariposa counties. The Tracy Transit Center is a bus station in Tracy, California, United States. The facility serves as a bus hub for transportation on local, commuter, and long-distance bus services. It also replaced the Naglee Park and Ride Lot "as the place for people to meet buses and vanpools" when the Naglee lot was sold for development in spring 2017, "after the city’s negotiations with several shopping centers near Interstate 205 proved unsuccessful."
