Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST) provides general public fixed route bus service through eight local and two intercity/commuter routes. All FAST buses are wheelchair accessible and most are equipped with bike racks. [1]

Fixed routes

FAST runs eight bus lines within the cities of Fairfield (including Cordelia) and Suisun with transfer hubs at the Fairfield Transportation Center (FTC), Fairfield–Vacaville Amtrak station, Walmart store, Solano Town Center, and Suisun Senior Center.

Solano Express

FAST, alongside other public transportation operators in Solano County, serves lines of the intercity Solano Express service. [2]

The Blue Line provides service from the FTC: northbound to Vacaville, UC Davis, and Sacramento, and southbound to Solano Community College, Benicia, and Pleasant Hill BART station.

The Red line provides service from the FTC to the Suisun City Amtrak Station, as well as southbound to the Vallejo Transit Center, and El Cerrito del Norte BART station.

The Green Express (GX) Line provides direct service from the FTC to the Suisun City Amtrak Station and El Cerrito del Norte BART station.

The Yellow Line provides southbound service from the Vallejo Transit Center to Benicia, Pleasant Hill BART station, and Walnut Creek BART station

The Capitol Corridor is a 168-mile (270 km) passenger train route operated by Amtrak between San Jose and Auburn, California. Most trains operate between San Jose and Sacramento, roughly parallel to Interstate 880 and Interstate 80. One round trip per day runs from Oakland through the eastern Sacramento suburbs to Auburn, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, while a single weekend round trip runs all the way from San Jose to Auburn. Capitol Corridor trains started in 1991.

The Richmond Transit Center is a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Amtrak station located in Richmond, California. Richmond is the north terminus of BART service on the Berryessa/North San José–Richmond line and Richmond–Daly City/Millbrae line; it is a stop for Amtrak's Capitol Corridor, San Joaquin, and California Zephyr routes. It is one of two transfer points between BART and Amtrak, along with Oakland Coliseum station.

Richmond Parkway Transit Center

The Richmond Parkway Transit Center or RPTC is a park and ride lot and bus terminal located in Richmond, California. It is named after the adjacent Richmond Parkway. It serves as a transfer point for the WestCAT and AC Transit. It is located on the corner of Richmond Parkway and Blume Drive near the Pinole border and adjacent to Interstate 80 and the Hilltop Plaza shopping center.

The California Pacific Railroad Company was incorporated in 1865 at San Francisco, California as the California Pacific Rail Road Company. It was renamed the California Pacific Railroad Extension Company in the spring of 1869, then renamed the California Pacific Railroad later that same year. The railroad from Vallejo to Sacramento was constructed six months prior to the May 1869 golden spike ceremony of the Central Pacific/Union Pacific Transcontinental Railway.

The library system consists of eight public libraries, and additionally the Solano County Law Library and the Solano County Library Adult Literacy Program. Suisun–Fairfield station

Suisun–Fairfield station is an Amtrak station in Suisun City, California. It serves both Suisun City and nearby Fairfield. It is served by the Amtrak Capitol Corridor commuter rail line between Auburn and San Jose through Oakland. Connecting bus service is provided by Fairfield and Suisun Transit. The station is under the State Route 12 overpass.

SolTrans

SolTrans, officially Solano County Transit, is a Joint Powers Authority that provides public transportation service to the southern Solano County cities of Vallejo and Benicia. SolTrans was established in 2011 and is the result of a merger between Vallejo Transit and Benicia Breeze.

Fairfield Transportation Center

The Fairfield Transportation Center or FTC is a bus station in Fairfield, California, United States. The facility serves as a bus hub for transportation on local, commuter, and long-distance bus services. There are plans to expand the center. Casual carpooling is also practiced here.

Vacaville Transportation Center

Vacaville Transportation Center also known as the Vacaville Intermodal Station is a bus station in Vacaville, California. It is served by Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST), Vacaville City Coach, Yolobus, and the Bulldog Express wine tours.
