Calendar changes

• MotoGP will return to Brazil in 2026 after a 21-year absence. The last time MotoGP was held in Brazil was in 2004 at the Jacarepaguá Circuit in Rio de Janeiro, where it was known as the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix. ^[46]
• The Argentine Grand Prix will not be returning to calendar in 2026, organisers have confirmed in a statement, they hope to return in 2027. The Argentina Grand Prix came back onto the calendar in 2014 at the new Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo venue, having previously been held on and off in Buenos Aires between 1961 and 1999. ^[47] However on 21 July 2025, Dorna announced that the Argentine Grand Prix would have a new home starting in the 2027 season. Work is underway to return to the Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez. ^[48]
