Christianity is a minority in Hunan province of the People's Republic of China. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Changsha, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Changde and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hengzhou have their seat in the province. The province has persecution of Christians. Hunan has more than 1000 congregations. [1] The Hunan Bible Institute was founded in 1909. [2] Christians only form a small majority of the Hunanese Han.[ citation needed ] True Jesus Church and The Shouters are present in the province. [3] China Evangelistic Fellowship and China Fountain Group had a large following in 2000. [4]

The Diocese of Rapid City is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in western South Dakota, United States. The cathedra is found within the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the episcopal see of Rapid City. Peter Michael Muhich was installed as bishop of this see on July 9, 2020.

Anhui province of China has one of the largest Christian populations of regions of East Asia. It includes millions of people. According to surveys conducted in 2007 and 2009, 5.30% of the population identifies as Christian. Christianity in Henan is one of the largest Christian populations in East Asia as well. The Shouters are active in the province. The defunct Apostolic Vicariate of Kiang-nan had a long history. The country has Persecution of Christians. Watchman Nee died a martyr in an Anhui labour-camp in 1972.

Christianity is a minority religion in Shandong province of China. Christianity in Henan, Christianity in Anhui and Christianity in Jiangsu are other major provincial Christian populations. Cheeloo University is defunct. St. Michael's Cathedral, Qingdao and Sacred Heart Cathedral (Jinan) are churches of European style. Another European-style church is due to be built in Qufu, where Confucius originated. This idea was or is opposed by Confucianist groups. There is official action against house churches.

Christianity is a minority in Fujian province of China. The Shouters are present in the province. Churches in Fujian include The Aowei Church of Holy Rosary, Church of Heavenly Peace, Fuzhou, Flower Lane Church, Saint Dominic's Cathedral, Fuzhou and St. John's Church, Fuzhou. Christianity in Fuqing consisted of 350,000 Christians in the 2000s and is a centre of Christianity. The local churches (affiliation) are estimated to include about half of them. The number of members of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement in Fujian is a high 6-digit figure at least. There are at least 80,000 members of the True Jesus Church in the province. Fujian has many house churches. Christianity has been present in Fujian for centuries. The People's Republic of China has persecution of Christians. Unregistered Catholics are controlled tightly in the province. A house church in Pingtan in Fujian province was demolished in 2006.

Christianity is a minority in Liaoning, a province of the People's Republic of China. Multimillionaire Leung Moon-Lam intended to build a theme park on the bible there. The number of Christians in the province has increased dramatically since the Cultural Revolution, having been at about 60,000 in 1965. A significant minority are of Korean origin. The number of registered churches and meeting points exceeds 1000. The number of Protestants exceeds half a million. The number of Christians in Shenyang was estimated to be 200,000 as of 2000. An estimate for 1996 was 70,000. Shenyang has North East Theological Seminary. Liaoning has a far lower number of arrests of Christians than other provinces. Dalian had about 1% Christians in 2003. Fuxin has a Christian population estimated at below 1%.
