Clifton Forge is a town in Alleghany County, Virginia, United States which is part of the Roanoke Region. The population was 3,884 at the 2010 census. The Jackson River flows through the town, which as a result was once known as Jackson's River Station.

Baltimore East/South Clifton Park Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is primarily an urban residential area organized in a gridiron pattern. It comprises approximately 110 whole and partial blocks that formed the historic northeast corner of the City of Baltimore prior to 1888. While rowhouses dominate the urban area, the historic district also contains other property types which contribute to its character including brewing, meat packing, cigar manufacturing, printing, and a tobacco warehouse. The Baltimore Cemetery completes the historic district.
Clifton Springs Sanitarium Historic District is a national historic district located at Clifton Springs in Ontario County, New York. The district includes the previously listed main Clifton Springs Sanitarium and Foster Cottage. The expansion includes all the surrounding structures directly associated with the sanitarium during the historic period and the remaining intact portion of the original landscaped grounds. The additional structures include the Foster Block ; the YMCA (1879), the current sanitarium (1896), Maxwell Hall (1926), and the Woodbury Building with connecting pavilion (1927).

The Dundee Canal was an industrial canal in Clifton and Passaic in Passaic County, New Jersey. It was built between 1858 and 1861 and ran parallel to the Passaic River. It supplied hydropower and water for manufacturing. There was interest by some members of the business community to modify the canal to support navigational uses, but the canal was never used for that purpose.
Clifton-Metropolitan Hotel was a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It has since been torn down and it was delisted from the National Register in 1997 The site on the corner of Main Street and River Drive, along with the neighboring site of the former Schauder Hotel, is now a public parking structure.

The residential area is composed primarily of rowhomes that were developed, beginning in the 1870s, as housing for Baltimore's growing Bohemian (Czech) immigrant community. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries the neighborhood was the heart of the Bohemian community in Baltimore. The Bohemian National Parish of the Roman Catholic Church, St. Wenceslaus, is located in the neighborhood. The historic district includes all of McElderry Park and Milton-Montford, most of Middle East and Madison-Eastend, and parts of Ellwood Park.

Notable buildings include the Hawkins Brothers Store, Wiley House (1891), Chesapeake and Ohio Office Building (1906), Masonic Theatre (1905), Alleghany Building (1905), Clifton Forge City Hall (1910-1911), U.S. Post Office (1910), Ridge Theatre (1929), the Farrar Building (1930), and the Pure Oil Company Service Station (1932).
