The Fourth N. Chandrababu Naidu Ministry (also known as 28th Ministry of Andhra Pradesh) of the state of Andhra Pradesh was formed on 12 June 2024 headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister following the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.

Background

The state cabinet of Andhra Pradesh with N. Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister was sworn in on 12 June 2024. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] The swearing-in ceremony took place at 11:27 AM on 12 June 2024 near Gannavaram Airport, Kesarapalle, Amaravati (Vijayawada). [6]

The list of 24 cabinet ministers (excluding the chief minster), were announced on 12 June 2024 prior to the oath-taking ceremony. [7] The cabinet has twenty one ministers from Telugu Desam Party, three from Jana Sena Party and one from Bharatiya Janata Party. [8] 17 of the 25 are first-time ministers. [9] [10] [11] [12]

Konidela Pawan Kalyan is an Indian politician, actor, and founder of the Jana Sena Party. He is currently serving as the 9th Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since June 2024. He is also serving as the Minister of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Environment, Forests, and Science and Technologies in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Politics of Andhra Pradesh take place in the context of a bicameral parliamentary system within the Constitutional framework of India. He is from Rajampeta, Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.

He also served as Panchayat Raj, Rural development and IT and Communication minister through an MLC post. He was severely criticized for not contesting the elections and becoming a minister in his father Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet. The chief ministership of N. Chandrababu Naidu is for four terms. Naidu's first term began on 1 September 1995 and ended on 11 October 1999. Naidu was sworn in by the then governor Krishan Kant. Naidu's second term began from 11 October 1999 to end on 13 May 2004, sworn in by the then governor C. Rangarajan. 10 years later, Naidu's third term started from 8 June 2014 to end on 29 May 2019 to serve as the chief minister of the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh where he was sworn in by the then governor E. S. L. Narasimhan.
