Godfrey House and Barn Complex is a historic home and barn complex located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. The farmhouse was built in about 1853 and is a two-story, three bay wide by three bay deep, frame Italianate style dwelling. In addition to the farmhouse, there are four contributing buildings and two structures dating from the 1850s to the 1930s. They include two barns, a milk house, a chicken house, garage, and a silo. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. [1]

The farm was originally leased from the Dutch settler Stephen Van Rensselaer by Michael Leonhardt who emigrated from Pfaltz, Germany. Michael Leonhardt signed a deed with Van Rennselaer granting Michael "inheritable rights" to the property, which would pass on to his offspring. The cost of the lease was five shillings and a yearly rent of 22 skepples of winter wheat, four "fat fowls," and one day of providing transportation for the Van Rensselaers—with carriage and horses—on the second day of January of each year.

The farmhouse consists of a two-story, three-bay wide, sidehall plan main block built in 1832, with a 1 1/2 story side wing added in 1852. A rear kitchen wing was added in 1986. The main barn was built in 1852. The complex is representative of rural agrarian farmsteads of the 19th and early-20th centuries in the Finger Lakes Region.

Penn's Park General Store Complex, also known as the Gaines Property, is a historic commercial complex located at Penn's Park, Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is south of the Penns Park Historic District. The complex consists of three primary buildings: a farmhouse, store building, and frame bank barn, along with six outbuildings. The farmhouse was built in 1810, and is a 2 1/2-story, six bay, fieldstone rectangular building in the Georgian style. The store building was built in 1836, and is a three-story, three bay by three bay, fieldstone building. The outbuildings consist of a storage shed, wagon building, chicken house, livestock barn, wood shed, and outhouse. The store housed a post office until 1971.
