The Sony Vision-S is an all-electric automobile platform that was developed by Sony, with the first model unveiled at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas as the Vision-S Concept. When the second concept was unveiled in 2022 as the Vision-S 02, the original concept was retroactively renamed to Vision-S 01. Sony plans to use the Vision-S platform to develop future electric vehicles under a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Sony Mobility Inc., which will assume responsibility for the Vision-S platform and vehicle development in the spring of 2022. The Vision-S platform is fully electric and designed to emphasize the user experience of autonomous driving, as well as accommodate the growth of technology in future models.

The vehicle debuted in April 2021 as the "bZ4X Concept". It is the first vehicle to be based on the e-TNGA platform co-developed by Toyota and Subaru, and the brand's first model to be part of their Toyota bZ series of zero-emissions vehicles.

It was revealed on 7 September 2023 as the company's third electric vehicle - following the Eletre and the Evija - and second vehicle produced in China, after the aforementioned Eletre. This car is expected to compete with the Porsche Taycan.

Honda Ye is a sub-brand of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda, specializing in battery electric vehicles (BEVs) for the Chinese market. Launched in 2024, the Ye brand is part of Honda's broader strategy to introduce 10 electric vehicle models in China by 2027, six of which will be under the Ye brand. The name "Ye" (烨) translates to "shine brilliantly" in Chinese, reflecting the brand's focus on innovation and sustainability.
